Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

The world really needs another remake of LotF. Do they have any original ideas?
Of course,I’ve always wanted to see an all female remake of “The Alamo”,but have never figured out who could play John Wayne’s part.
Next,a transgender version of LotF. Can’t wait.
O/T but of great concern considering recent totalitarian events…
Theothermccain.com appears to be offline. I just went there and got this:
“Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
Anyone else get this?
I’ve heard that the females on The View wouldn’t hurt a fly … unless it was open.
On that one-eyebrow punk Shapiro…Z-man piece entitled “The Corrupt Midget”:

Anyone who thinks this POS is a defender of free speech and decency hasn’t been paying close enough attention.
Just another money-grubbing attention whore.
But what else is new…
Half the movie would be found with them looking for a place to pee. And with school uniforms tough for them to break into fashion and makeup clans
Another Ghostbusters, the Vagina Version? Critics be warned that panning one of these Hollywood potboilers is the same as raping 10 year old nuns in the streets. Maybe the way to get good parts for women is to have someone actually write good parts for women. Forcing women into men’s roles thinking that it will translate is sexist in itself.
With The View, Barbara Walters obviously scoured America to find the stupidest women, with a pulse, to contrast with her real intelligence. Then she leaves.
Kate, I can already see the curtains. Really nice.
Wake me up when there’s a remake entirely starring white men of:
– Thelma and Louise
– Beaches
– Divine Secrets of the Rah Rah Sisterhood
– Little Woman
– Mean Girls
– Waiting to Exhale
– The Color Purple
– How Stella Got Her Groove Back
“Barbara Walters obviously scoured America to find the stupidest women” Scar
Barbara Walter knew how to get ahead & she keep pushing, She was an accomplished individual. The Women on the View are ALL on the down side slide of a happen-chance existence…They fit the 80% of Democrat Group think..participation prize winners…..
Looking forward to the all female versions of:
Kelly’s Heroes
Saving Private Ryan
Oceans Eleven
Raging Bull
The Longest Yard
The mind wanders with the imagery
Story writers must be expensive. Too many remakes. I suppose Dickens, RL Stevenson and all those great stories are off limits. Too much acting involved without car chases.
Speaking of girls stranded on a desert island with no adult supervision … I am actually shocked that Leftist Hollyweird hasn’t remade The Blue Lagoon with an all female cast … who “discover” their girl parts and how to,scissor their timbers. Or two transgenders stranded in the Blue Lagoon who both spontaneously decide to change genders as the boy discovers his penchant for cleaning the hut and washing loincloths, while his girl partner likes to kill things and defend the hut from pirates.
Eat, Pray, Love – starring Bruce Willis.
“….I’ve always wanted to see an all female remake of “The Alamo”,but have never figured out who could play John Wayne’s part.”
I’m nominating Jenner….
The Stallone or Schwarzenegger versions would also be curious!
The Hollyweird set just don’t realize how stupid they appear to the rest of the logical world. Must be the drugs they ingest daily, Altered States…..
Story writers must be expensive. Too many remakes.
It’s not the writing, it’s the marketing that’s expensive. The marketing budget on a movie is 100-150% of the production budget. That’s why so many remakes, sequels, adaptations and comic book movies. Everybody knows what the story and characters are going to be so you don’t need to spend as much on advertising the film, and you have a guaranteed core audience.

Didn’t Ghostbusters with boobs teach hollywood tards anything?
I’d go for the remake of “Thelma and Louise” starring Justin Trudeau and Barack Obama, and they needn’t use stunt men for that final shot.
“The Longest Yard” could be fun if they get enough hot babes tearing their footy-ball shirts off in the Big game.
Go ahead,call me a lecher.
You have to realize that these days the comic book movies make all the money, leaving room for Art like all-girl Lord of the Flies.
Which was a farcical concept to begin with. The only reason school kids are forced to read it is because its a Leftist screed. The plot has holes you can drive a bus through.
My wife says that ‘we’ will not be watching that garbage.
Not going to beat the original English black and white version, the sound track alone makes that one the winner, hands down. When this one shows up at a theatre near me I’ll treat it just like every remake from the last couple of decades….I won’t waste my money paying to see it.
What a load of sh*t.
Let’s face it Robinson Crusoe[a] /ˌrɒbɪnsən ˈkruːsoʊ/ a novel by Daniel Defoe, first published on 25 April 1719 said all that was needed to be said about this sort of story.
I thought the movie Castaway did a real good job of making a familiar story interesting.
OK, Ben nailed that one. 🙂
HTG, I worked at a Fortune 200 during the twilight of my career as female Gen Xers were hand picked for leadership positions in order to meet government demographic requirements. As a woman I can say that if it wasn’t Lord of the Flies, it was Animal Farm.
I wanna see a remake of ROOTS with an all Asian transgender cast for the slaves.
I think the premise has been tried in that Mad Maxine movie from about 2 years ago.
The whole idea is barmy from the start. For one thing, it can’t be titled Lord of the Flies as that would be obviously sexist due to the evil male patriarchy. Also, there can’t be any fat-shaming, so the role of Piggy would have to be eliminated. Much of the story would be lost right there.
Quite obviously, Hollywood has displayed its intellectual bankruptcy yet again with this idea.
By the way, I recall that there was a remake of LOTF nearly 30 years ago. I watched it, or, at least, bits of it and, yes, it was absolutely smegging awful.
Friend’s daughter is in Houston at a school for teens with emotional issues – a lot of them do not cope well with stress. (They are safe and dry.) imagine 20 teen girls living in close quarters these past few days. We were joking (because that is all she can do at the moment) that it was getting all Lord Of The Flies in there. I must send her the story.
does this mean in 2030 the offerings will consist of remakes of remakes of remakes of remakes?
hollyweird is artistically BANKRUPT.
No kidding. Fuel Filter believes what he reads, apparently with no intelligent thought or ability to scrutinize obvious rubbish.
Hmmmmm, believes what he reads……
Hey Fuel Filter: It’s imperative you E-transfer $1000 to kate@katewerk.com in order to, oh I don’t know, keep the left down. Or up? Damn those commies, amirite?
Anyone’s who’s been in an organization dominated by women managers knows better than this.
