    What would happen if they came out and disrespected you or the refs publicly?
    I observed a player getting a personal foul for twerking in the end zone after scoring. I guess that’s much worse than disrespecting the flag and our National Anthem. Hmmmmm, isn’t it his 1st Amendment right to express himself like an idiot in the end zone?
    Why is taunting not allowed yet taunting America is OK? You fine players for wearing 9-11 commemorative shoes yet you allow scum on the sidelines to sit, kneel or pump their pathetic fist in the air. They are so deprived with their multi-million dollar contracts for playing a freaking game!
    You condone it all by your refusal to act. You’re just as bad and disgusting as they are. I hope Americans boycott any sponsor who supports that rabble you call the NFL. I hope they turn off the TV when any team that allowed this disrespect to occur, without consequence, on the sidelines. I applaud those who have not.
    Legends and heroes do NOT wear shoulder pads. They wear body armor and carry rifles. They make minimum wage and spend months and years away from their families. They don’t do it for an hour on Sunday. They do it 24/7 often with lead, not footballs, coming in their direction. They watch their brothers carted off in pieces not on a gurney to get their knee iced. They don’t even have ice! Many don’t have legs or arms.
    Some wear blue and risk their lives daily on the streets of America. They wear fire helmets and go upstairs into the fire rather than down to safety. On 9-11, hundreds vanished. They are the heroes.
    I hope that your high paid protesting pretty boys and you look in that mirror when you shave tomorrow and see what you really are, legends in your own minds. You need to hit the road and take those worms with you!

    I didn’t watch a single NFL game last year until the playoffs and only watched then because the Falcons made them. The NFL took a poll and found out that the reason viewership was down last year was because of Copperdick and the rest of the assholes who refused to stand for the national anthem. Still, they are doing nothing about it. A few weeks ago, many Cleveland Browns players knelt during the national anthem. NFL great Jim Brown took them to task for it. The next game, they all stood.
    There is not a country on this planet where black people have it better than they do in this country. They live better than 90% of the people on the planet. The reason they do not do better is their own fault. They drop out of school. They don’t do well in school because it’s “acting white” and then they bitch that they can’t get good jobs. Their girls get preggers at fourteen and immediately begin a life of poverty. Three out of four black children are born to single mothers. Is that the fault of white privilege? Nope. It’s the fault of black stupidity. It’s amazing how much better people do, both black and white, if they stay in school and wait until they are married before having children. Only about five percent of those people wind up in poverty. How simple is that?

  5. I didn’t even know the NFL was in preseason mode until about 10 days ago. It’s amazing how much time one gains in their life when they dump Crackbook, the NFL, Twitter and network TV.

  7. The port of Churchill is the ultimate government grand idea. A port built at the end of impossible shifting road bed that’s open less than 5 months in the year and a port that ship owners hate because of the damage their ships sustain due to the chunks of ice. Only government could come up with anything as impractical.

    Okay – so you’re making that up. Sure it has a 3 month shipping season – without ice. The railway to Churchill is almost 90 years old and never had a problem. I suspect an iotum of routine maintenance would have prevented much of the disaster in the last year. Why wouldn’t Alberta ship oil out of Churchill? No-one else seems to want it.

  14. The railroad to Churchill has been out since June. 19 bridges are damaged and the rail bed is in poor condition.
    It is not viable for heavy oil tanker traffic or any traffic fir that matter.
