Jim is in fact an American name. Jim is short for James. The name James in Spanish is Santiago.
There is no ‘Jim’ in Spanish. Neither is there a ‘Yim’. Insisting that the POTUS mispronounce ‘Jim’ as Acosta’s parents did is absurd.
