  5. I don’t think the Nazis are nazis. For a start the Nazis existed for one time in history, and don’t exist anymore. They get labelled as nazis because they are nationalists (they are not German socialist workers), and as far as the communists are concerned anyone who is not a communist is a Nazi. When the communists are rounding up dissenters and shipping them of the the GULAG, arguing that you aren’t a Nazi, but a liberal democrat will do you no good.
    I have no idea what their economic or monetary policies are and at this point they don’t really matter. If the communists manage to get their way there will be no going back. If the nationalists manage to ensure the survival of the nation we can argue about economic policy in the future.

  7. The left’s name for conservative is Nazi. In Charlottesville, a peaceful march that was defending against anti-white racism was attacked by communists that came with helmets, clubs, and shields. The dead women is responsible for her own death because her intention was to see people beaten, just as likely to death. The police are also responsible for the escalation because they refused to get involved in protecting perceived racists. Interesting how the media blames the whities for the violence when the commies came prepared and started it.

  8. I don’t think anyone can think that the statue of R.E. Lee was not “bait” for FOOLS… The State of Virginia is run by the Governor who is a Democrat gangster.. The Alt right, Clan, ETC entered the twilight Zone when they demonstrated in Virginia, which insured they had everything to lose.. If Virginia had FIRST defaced, or taken down R.E Lee the Clan would have grown exponentially. an all out racial WAR would be the News Today.
    They destroyed themselves by acting prematurely. Most likely leadership was bought-off to play-out this drama.. The CNN coverage & pre-planned Antifa/BLM counter demonstrators created the perfect storm for Hollywood…
    The Democrat & Republican Establishment goal is to demonize Trump…The participants, including MSM, are just useless fools…

    The events in Charlotteville remind me of the events leading to the Bela Kun communist regime in Hungary in 1919 and to the brawls between the communists and Nazis during the 1918-1933 Weimar period in Germany.
    Everybody needs to remember that to the Soros/Alinskyites faction anyone not a part of their various communist splinter groups is considered a fascist (Nazi). The tern “Antifa” was used during the 1920s in Germany.
    It is disheartening to see the media focusing on and emphasizing all aspects of the “alt-right” and lumping anyone right 0f center with groups like went to Charlotteville, but minimizing anything to do with the BLM/Antifa/anarchist riots.

  12. As I understand it the Unite the Right had a legitimate permit to assemble to demonstrate their opposition to the city fathers intention to re-write history by removing the statue of Lee. This had already been done in a number of Southern States. The very park where the statue is located was Lee Park before it was renamed Emancipation Park. The so-called Antifa and BLM groups assembled in opposition to a legitimate protest with the sole intent of shutting down the protest by any means. This has been effective in the past, witness the Berkeley riots and indeed the riot in Toronto. The ineffectiveness of the Charlottesville law enforcement, and indeed the granting of a permit for a counter protest if any had been issued is a matter of incompetence with criminal intent on the part of the city councilors. As I stated in another post last night “First they tear down the statues, then they tear down the statutes.” When the right to peaceful assembly is removed then democracy is lost, and we are seeing a portent of Orwell’s future in what is taking place today in both America and Canada. The Canadian media on the West Coast, like the American media is calling the legitimate demonstration organizers a ‘white nationalist’ group rather than a Unite the Right organization.
    As I’ve said here on a number of occasions the left have no boundaries of engagement while we are still stumbling along under the Marquis of Queensbury rules. Democrats and by extension Liberals are nothing more than Nazis camouflaged in clown costumes and are engaged in subverting all that Western society is and has been.

  13. I read that the Confederate statues weren’t being destroyed, but simply moved from the towns square to the outskirts of the metro area. I actually support that move. It seems quite consistent with the intended and unintended social engineering the leftists have wrought upon the cities. As the cities become more densely packed with “protected” groups; homeless getting shelters, intravenous drug users receiving free needles, LGBTQADAYADDA, illegal aliens receive sanctuary, and INTIFA groups receive police “protection”(inaction) … the whites (and smart people ovvvv cullller) have FLED the city enters. Let the city centers ROT from within. ROT from their alphabet stew of freaks, geeks, and losers (ovvvv ALL culllers). Please DO send proud symbols of the Rebel South to the Suburbs and Country. Please DO “sanitize” the inner city from Rebel History. Whatever it takes to make your freak stew feeeeel cummmmfertable. Because MY PEOPLE have fled. While I have no “Deep South” roots whatsoever, I defend their right to celebrate their own history. I am happy to host their symbols out here in Suburbia and beyond.
    However, if you want violence? Just TRY to weaponize HUD to force the Suburbs to houze your “low-income” dead wood, er – residents. We will take your statues … but you can KEEP your rabble to yourselves. Because your rabble are violent. And if they come to the hinterlands … they won’t enjoy the police protection given them by the inner city politicians … and we’re all ARMED out here.

  18. It appears as though the dead woman is well on her way to sainthood … right up there with Rachael Corrie. She has been uniformly described as a “strong” woman who had a “heart” for the downtrodden, and fought against “injustice” everywhere. She is described as a “paralegal” … hmmm … I wonder what Government-subsidized eco-firm she typed-for ? I would like to READ her online writings (none of which appear to have been “outed”). I suspect her tone and content was anything BUT “peaceful”. Did she deserve to DIE by such a brutal means ? Of course not. But neither does she deserve sainthood. Honesty, and transparency is the best path to take.

    1. The demonstrators had a legal permit. The counter protestors did not, and they were the ones who started the violence.
    2. Nothing justifies the counter violence that caused a death. The demonstrators did not act like committed conservatives. We should seriously investigate where their funding came from. I won’t be surprised if Soros is behind both sides and just wants to orchestrate violence, at which he has succeeded.
    3. For philosophical reasons I object to both white supremacists and black supremacists (like BLM). And for very good personal reasons since I am neither white nor black.
    4. Robert E. Lee was a great man of principle. He could have been commanding the Union army, instead of just the Virginia militia at the start of the Civil War. But he thought his primary allegiance was to Virginia, since the Union was dissolving. It was less than a hundred years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and most people still gave their loyalty to the state, and to the Union because of the state. Also you will not read this from your text books. Robert E. Lee did not fight for the South to preserve slavery. Before the civil war, he had freed his own slaves as a matter of conscience. In contrast, Grant, who commanded the Union army, owned slaves. The Commonwealth of Virginia should be proud to have such a great man in her history. Protesting desecration of his statue by itself is definitely not a racist act, whatever the demonstration escalated to later.

  23. National Socialist German Workers Party. Full title in English for the Nazi Party. It is interesting to note the German words that approximate English in the actual title. Curiously enough, of the so called “Nazi activists , I doubt whether any can speak German. I doubt whether they have been to Germany in most cases. The Nazi Party was outlawed in 1945. A pretty handy smear word however.
    I note CTV briefly showed a picture of Adolf Hitler with a swastika armband. This while showing pictures of the tragic car death and collision in Virginia.
    A field day for CBC and CTV. Revelling in the whole business, but quite clever in disguising this.

    As was said, “Don’t pick a favourite.” To elaborate: Provide enough assistance, discreetly, to either or both to maximize the damage they do each other, and remain prepared to put down the survivors if they won’t leave you alone.

A whole class of people, younger white males, has been denigrated and told they have no place in society, and to get in line behind the women, blacks, Muslims, Mexicans, LGBT and whatever the flavour of the week is. As Yay said above “If this keeps escalating the side with the better weapons and training is going to win.” Many of these white supremacists are ex-military. This is not going to end well.

    If you go by their history, they should be equated. No one died at Berkeley in the anti-Milo riot but a lot of damage was done. The left has a long history of physical violence against anyone it disagrees with – whom it is always pleased to label “racist” or “fascist” or even “neo-Nazi” – with or (usually) without justification. The leftists who torched the university probably didn’t care if someone had died.
    CNN, perhaps among others, dug up some pastor who posted a video or a written piece (I haven’t seen it) which labelled the whole thing “racist” – as if we’re all supposed to recoil in horror and fall into line like it’s some massive great revelation about something that hadn’t occurred to us. Of course the racist right is racist. But the left has been calling anything and everything under the Sun “racist” for so long that we just become bored with it. What do you think “micro-aggressions” are about?
    The governor of Virginia has been biased in his comments. However, I don’t disagree with his use of the word “terrorist” to describe the car driver, as it’s consistent with the usage for similar attacks in London, Nice and elsewhere.

    False. The protest against the statue removal, for which a permit had been granted, was not in and of itself a “riot”. Where were you on the anti-Milo Berkeley torching, which really was a riot?

    Two points. One, this “right-wing” person should be distinguished from libertarians and the like. If anything, since the racist right is just as collectivist as the communist left, both are on the same wavelength, and only the hatreds (“race” versus “class”) are different.

    Exactly. There have been tons of articles over the years and even a university study published last year (sorry, no link) about the danger of all 30 year old males in their mom’s basement.
    I am reminded more with every riot by the left that occurs of the events in Germany under the Wiemar Republic. The events in Charlottesville will not be the last. George Soros has sown a whirlwind.

  36. Has amy commentator here actually seen the film footage of the “alt right” marchers on the campus in Charlottesville. Very reminiscent of the Nazi brownshirts. And the students just quietly holding up signs. Yes, Antifa and the other violent lefties caused some of the violence. But there are limits to free speech. It should not include marching in the streets with torches shouting fascist, racist and anti-semitic slogans. There were hundreds of peaceful protesters. The Antifa anarchists were a small minority. The car hit and run is domestic terrorism for which should be a capital offence. I agree that the Hammer and Sickle is just as offensive as the Swastika. But don’t insult everyones’ intelligence by calling all those protesters communists. Trummp is the absolute worst thing to befall that country. Pray for impeachment! Except there is one good thing – I think Kim Jung Un realizes that Trump really is crazy and figures holy crap, I better back off!
