    It’s insane. Listen to this spokesperson blather on about nipping this kind of thing in the bud otherwise ‘ageism, sexism and racism’ could end up in their algorithms.

    It is important for men to remember that, as women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of housekeeping as when they were younger.
    When you notice this, try not to yell at them. Some are oversensitive, and there’s nothing worse than an oversensitive woman.
    My name is Ron. Let me relate how I handled the situation with my wife, Lorraine
    When I retired a few years ago, it became necessary for Lorraine to get a full-time job, along with her part-time job, both for extra income and for the health benefits that we needed.
    Shortly after she started working, I noticed she was beginning to show her age. I usually get home from the golf club about the same time she gets home from work Although she knows how hungry I am, she almost always says she has to rest for half an hour or so before she starts dinner. I don’t yell at her. Instead, I tell her to take her time and just wake me when she gets dinner on the table.
    I generally have lunch each day in the Men’s Grill at the Golf Club, so eating out is not an option in the evening. I’m ready for some home-cooked grub when I hit that door. She used to do the dishes as soon as we finished eating. But now, it’s not unusual for them to sit on the table for several hours after dinner. I do what I can by diplomatically reminding her several times each evening that they won’t clean themselves. I know she really appreciates this, as it does seem to motivate her to get them done, before she goes to bed.
    Another symptom of aging is complaining, I think. For example, she will say that it is difficult for her to find time to pay the monthly bills during her lunch hour. But, boys, we take ’em for better or worse, so I just smile and offer encouragement. I tell her to stretch it out over two, or even three days. That way, she won’t have to rush so much. I also remind her that missing lunch completely now and then wouldn’t hurt her any (if you know what I mean). I like to think tact is one of my strong points.
    When doing simple jobs, she seems to think she needs more rest periods. She had to take a break, when she was only half-finished mowing the front lawn. I try not to make a scene. I’m a fair man… I tell her to fix herself
    a nice, big, cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and just sit for a while. And, as long as she is making one for herself, she may as well make one for me, too.
    I know that I probably look like a saint in the way I support Lorraine. I’m not saying that showing this much patience & consideration is easy. Many men will find it difficult. Some will find it impossible! Nobody knows better than I do how frustrating women get as they get older. However, guys, even if you just use a little more tact and less criticism of your aging wife because of this article, I will consider that writing it was well worthwhile. After all, we are put on this earth to help each other.
    EDITOR’S NOTE:
    Ron died suddenly on June 30 of a perforated rectum.
    The police report says he was found with a Calloway extra-long 50-inch Big Bertha Driver II golf club jammed up his rear end, with barely 5 inches of grip showing, and a sledge hammer laying nearby.
    His wife Lorraine was arrested and charged with murder…
    The all-woman jury took only 10 minutes to find her Not Guilty, accepting her defense that Ron, somehow without looking, accidentally sat down on his golf club.
    A hole in one, so to speak!!

    If we wait until the next election in 2019 there is no possibility that we will oust this government. The CPC and the NDP better wake up and realize that if they do not do something to bring this government down in September then Canadians will be looking at the “Natural Governing Party of Canada” ruling this country in perpetuity.

  9. Illegal aliens aren’t bankrupting anyone. If the CPC is dumb enough to campaign on border security, they will certainly lose. They’ll probably lose anyway.

  10. This latest batch of illegals coming through our borders are going to have to be processed and housed or they will end up scattered across the country and getting “lost” to authorities. Trudeau and his brains behind the curtain are not addressing the logistics at all, they’re more into making Trump look bad.
    This will be another mess and Goodale will be surfacing soon to call for people to help…
    Haitians now, Mexicans next.
    We are not in good hands.

  11. Maybe we could be a tad more positive! Border security is an issue, always has been.
    I live in SW Sask. I remember visiting an old farmer south of Assiniboia, Sk. who had a truck for sale. He lived about 2 miles from the 49th. He told me: ”On some nights, I see 4-5 vehicles crossing the back and forth across the border.” Since then (when Paul Martin was PM) the RCMP have stepped up patrols, and have made arrests.
    Grey wolves and ranchers with a Ruger Mini 14 are the best border patrols money can buy.

    Take heart Liberals, you still lead in the polls. We here in B.C. were recently graced by His Imperial majesty whose sage advice to the folks living in the forest fire areas of B.C.,” don’t breathe too deeply”, shows what a caring person he really is.
    We are humbly grateful, though we did kinda expect Him to snuff out the fires with his aura or maybe just make it rain a bit, but He had to get to Tofino to go kayaking,so wtf,He’s a busy semi-deity.

  15. In 1989 I was attending a university upgrading course and in the student body there were a number of foreign students. One of them had somehow been overlooked in the health examination and had TB. End result was that a number of us in the affected classes had to go and get examined and treated for TB exposure. A small inconvenience to most of us but a goodly sum to our health care. Now we are reading about TB outbreaks happening in Europe and America. I wonder if the liberal press is failing to report the number of refugees and illegal aliens that are now being treated at health facilities in Canada for infectious diseases that were somehow overlooked by the immigration and refugee boards. Borders and laws are set up to protect people and countries that have successfully built a productive and healthy society. This process takes many generations to develop, unfortunately it only takes a few short years to destroy.

    My problem with the ‘liberal’ solution is that when all the loving stops as it will when we run out of ‘beer and popcorn’ among other things like welfare cheques, what happens then? The problem with progressives is they can’t think that far ahead. It’s all sunshine and roses until the Pied Piper walks out of town.

    Crisis?
    What, supply running short?
    Nope.
    Users being denied access perhaps?
    Wrong again.
    What’s the crisis?
    It’s that recreational users are dying of over doses….like its a flaw in the drug not a feature that users will overdose if they use it.

    Yes it will, for the most part. Black markets tend to be violent.

    Borders and laws are SUPPOSED to protect people’s rights, but there are mostly used to violate them. The vast majority of restrictions on immigration fall into this category.
    TB testing is thankfully easier and faster than ever thanks to the miracle of qPCR.

  28. She really does have to do something to redeem herself before packing it in. If she does become a minister and does a good job, some of us will have to say we misjudged her. I am not holding my breath.
