What does this mean?

You know, for something like this, a little meat would have been welcome. No details anywhere, nothing about whether or not a tax will replace it, nothing about the subsidies to windmills.

  1. likely intentional. He is on record as saying carbon tax but that tax is returned in full in income tax reduction.
Would like to hear plan on fixing electricity rates, mix and subsidies.
Problem is politics. Why release now so far ahead of election.
OPCP will find a way to lose the election.

  2. Out here in the country, all the kids are singing:
    Paddy Brown
    His pants fell down
    And everyone could see
    A tiny pair
    With peach fuzz hair
As green as green can be
PS: Sometimes the kids say pink instead of green.

  3. He just needs to keep his gob shut and he will win a huge majority. Leave it to rand Paul type like lance to want him to risk it.

  4. I agree,Patrick Brown needs to shut his mush, we can’t have any last minute bimbo utterings like we had from Hudak.

  5. A conservative majority with PB being badly defeated in his own riding would be an ideal result.

  6. Oh you haters just don’t understand that when Patrick wins he will take Ontario one degree to the right of where liberals would have take it, and he will do it 51% of the time!!!!

  7. Fair points about no details.
There is the other side of the coin however.
I remember when Hudak (the dolt)came out with a reduced spending pledge along with specific dollar values and proceeded to announce some specific ideas as to how these reductions might occur.
This provided a seemingly endless fertile material for economic experts to come out of the woodwork and nail his promised numbers as impossible to achieve, no doubt egged on by the liberal media who were aching for anything to use as fuel for the attacks. He was fried, justifiably, for his , ill researched suggestion; eg:- chain gangs, which seemed to have been plucked from his nether regions.
It was a shooting gallery with all guns firing at Hudak and he lost the election.
I suggest that at this stage it might be prudent to go slowly with other than general initiatives and avoid the specifics and the word ‘promise’. Maybe keep the specifics in the background for a bit.

  8. You know what? Screw em. They can vote for more Wynne, or vote for something else. If Ontario is dumb enough to listen to anything Torstar or CBC says, I will dance while Ontario burns. The simple fact is, it would be better to detonate a nuke in your underpants, than vote communist. If they don’t see it, they deserve what they get.

  9. Patrick Brown? He does not believe in anything and will promise to do whatever will win votes. I would never vote for an unprincipled buffoon. If a libertarian was not on the ballot,I would rather hand it back as a protest.

  10. I am still on the fence whether to vote next election, I am not sure what offends me more, another librano government of Patrick pretending to be a conservative.

  11. there are no conservatives in Canada to vote for, just liberal lite morons with a slightly less invasive approach to killing your freedom.

  12. Exactly so! I urge all of you disgruntled Ontarians to vote for your PC candidate at an advance poll and head up the Brown’s constituency and work for whoever has the best chance of atomizing him.
