  2. I absolutely adore and respect Camille Paglia. We couldn’t be MORE politically, and spiritually divergent … however … I know she would still respect my choices and opinions as I would hers. Camille … as far as I am concerned … is the IDEAL model of what a “Democrat”, “Feminist”, Lesbian, leftist should be.

    She is HONEST, OPEN-minded, INTELLIGENT, committed, and consistent. She doesn’t suffer fools – left or right … nor would she EVER dismiss anyone as a “deplorable”. She surely would NEVER discharge the firearm (that she likely carries) toward ANYONE in Congress. The LEFT would do well to follow her example (not to mention the GOPe’s too).

  5. Government deficits mean rising interest rates. I saw 19% mortgage rates back in the early 80’s, thanks to Pierre Trudeau’s irresponsible finances. Obviously, P.E.T didn’t send a lot of time with his kids. The same thing is happening all over again.
    Interesting to note that a $853,000 home in Calgary that is presently financed at 3.00% (5 year fixed–25 year amortization) would cost just a tad over $4000 per month to service.
    The same home at 12% would cost $8800 to service. And at 19% it would skyrocket to $13,100 per month, or $157,200 per year. Add a car loan and a line of credit to that and see how well your life goes if you’re a young couple trying to make ends meet.
    And its not like we older guys hadn’t warned you about electing a Liberal government with a Trudeau at the head!! It took 30 years to clean up Pierre Elliot’s mess. And guess what?? It’ll take another 30 before this mess is over. .

  6. Vacant work space in Calgary is a huge victory for the leftists, those 40,000 workers are likely now more dependent on government for some or all of their income – and at election time they can be threatened.
    Socialist principles of envy and greed only appeal to some voters, others need to be threatened, the NDP/Liberals are good at creating these voting groups to retain power over people.

    Wow, in the telephone recordings made by Jones, Kelly comes across as nothing more than a shyster salesperson with the absolute ease she misrepresented herself to him. She’s no journalist, she proves here that she literally sold her soul to be a mercenary for the DNC.
    Personally, I’m no fan of Jones, either. I believe he is irresponsible with the power he wields and makes too many purposely inflammatory statements that accomplish nothing but to make Conservatives look ignorant. Where I am a big fan of the Devil’s Advocate approach to any subject, a good way to broaden people’s perceptions, he uses it irresponsibly, more as an excuse to make outrageous statements. Jones is otherwise a smart man, if he didn’t come across as such an arrogant blowhard, his fan base would probably increase tenfold. But, then again, maybe his brand of ugly is what the right needs right now. Just my opinions.
