  1. Well please, you must understand! The Goracle promised us an ice-free Arctic, and well, all that ice has to go somewhere…

“Inside Venezuela: The Socialist Haven on the Brink of Total Collapse”
“Everything about Venezuela suggests this is a nation on the brink of collapse. Whether it is the ongoing violence, the extreme poverty, or the enormous piles of garbage in the street, nothing is working as it should be. In January, inflation reached over 800 percent, while some analysts predicting it could reach 1500 percent by the end of the year. Even at one of the city’s most exclusive hotels, breakfast offerings remain scarce and electricity and internet connection regularly cut out.”
“Armed police stand on almost every street corner. Every physical space is dedicated to promoting the success of the late Hugo Chávez’s socialist revolution and Nicolás Maduro’s authoritarian regime. The opposition undermines official government propaganda with its own graffiti, effectively accusing the regime of destroying the country with the highest oil reserves in the world.”

  3. I don’t know if your statement about the IQ in Puerto Rico is true or not but it is irrelevant. IQ has little or nothing to do with the situation.
If you want correlations, try culture and/or climate and/or overpopulation and/or foolish politics.
In short, a person does not have to have a certain IQ to be a good citizen.
As a side note, I lived in PR for a year so I have at least a little insight.

“After Paris: A Green Disaster in the Making in Germany”
“Some may object to calling today’s E.U. a socialist scheme, pointing out that its leading member, Germany, has been led for 12 years by an allegedly conservative Christian Democrat government. It is a fact, however, that under Merkel, the CDU has moved so far left as to be virtually indistinguishable on most policy issues from its social-democratic coalition partners. As for the Paris Agreement itself, after a decent interval to allow for the requisite elites’ huffing and puffing while denying the inevitable, it will be quietly abandoned, much as the Kyoto Protocol was after the U.S. refused to be part of it.”

  5. If the greenies and Liberals are so adamant about converting to renewable energy then their policy platform should include the requirement that all hockey rinks must be powered by wind and solar. No back up connection to any grid nor any generator powered by sources they claim we have to stop using.

During the conversation, Comey told lawmakers he confronted Lynch with a highly sensitive piece of evidence, a communication between two political figures that suggested Lynch had agreed to put the kibosh on any prosecution of Clinton.

  8. When we came to Canada in the mid-1950s, the economy was booming and anyone who wanted a job could find one. The country needed skilled workers and invited people to come from overseas. Many in Europe saw Canada as a land of opportunity.
But that was 60 years ago. Now there are many Canadians who have impressive education and professional qualifications who can’t find work. Can anyone explain to me how importing workers is justified under these circumstances?
One sector where this is particularly bad is academe.

“The Fruits of Socialism: Venezuela in 20 Photos”
“As Venezuela enters year eighteen of the Bolivarian Socialist Revolution, the international community is finally paying attention, as Venezuelans struggle to find food, medicine, and an outlet for their frustration that will not trigger rampant state violence.
There is no short version of the story of how South America’s wealthiest nation, which boasts the world’s largest known oil reserves, became a nation where 15 percent of people need to scavenge through garbage to eat while the nation’s dictator dances on state television. Venezuela’s decline is the inevitable endgame of socialism, told by the deterioration of its streets, the abuse of its opposition politicians, and the use of the military to maim and kill Venezuelan children as young as 14.
Below, 20 images show the true toll of socialism in Venezuela.”

  10. It’s wonderful to see the left eating its own. This is yet another example of “be careful of what you ask for–you might just get it”.

  11. I hope the summer a stands firm on that. All those people threatening to boycott probably do not really use the spa. They will lose a lot of regular customers if they start letting men in.
