read colonialista’s post above mine, were he points out that scheer whipped the cons to vote to remain in paris agreement. Some one, I forget who, did not agree with me on my point as to why I hoped Bernier would win the leadership race. Don’t listen to Ooz the blow hard, facts and he never meet. The USA armed forces won in Nam, the pols pissed that one away. In Korea, South Korea is a success , and a few other ventures added, they did keep USSR in check, and Reagan finished the job. At the end of World War 2, there were millions of displaced persons, people on the edge of starvation across Europe and Asia, and little or no fight left in any Allied power except the Soviet Union.
