    The real nut-cutting will happen in September with the tax cuts and a full budget and possibly a health bill all on the table with the threat of a shutdown being a weapon that can be better pinned on the Dems.
    If that fails then the argument that trump is just a bigger version of Schwartzenegger may be apt.

  12. Every “Earth Day” … I turn on every light and appliance in my home … esp. all my 240v appliances like my dryer … to CELEBRATE what my people created in civilized society … cheap, clean, energy … all the energy needed for an incredibly HIGH standard of living.
    PS … If anyone hung their wash out on a clothesline in my upper middle class town … the city Planning Dept would send a code-enforcement officer (yes, we have one of those) to issue a cease and desist order.

  14. What exactly is she claiming Russia did? Russia may have had an interest in the election, but nothing they did or could have done would have impacted individual votes. There ia a lot of Fuzzy thinking going on with respect to Russian interference in the election. Did they take over the media? Stuff ballot boxes? Did they spend money buying votes — actually these are things the US has done in the past in foreign election, but they were not done by Russia in the last US election. The claim is nothing but Democratic/globalist attempts to undermine the legitimacy of the election.

  22. If you believe that the behavior of men and women, women toward men, men toward women is a social construct, you will applaud her because that is what she believes.
    If on the other hand, you believe that biology and inherent instincts largely govern behavior of men and women (not completely, but essentially) …. as I do, then you will see her motives and actions in raising her son as a form of child abuse.
    I tend to check off people like her as mentally ill. The last line says it all. She refuses to allow him to follow his biological programing, thwarting his natural instincts at every turn:
    “I’m going to turn the little alphabet belcher into a proud princess whether he likes it or not.”

  23. my mother was the laughing stock of the neighborhood when she would put papa’s long johns out to dry in freezing weather.
    stiff as a toboggan and still not dry. it was my introduction to the phenomenon of sublimation.
    she would then haul them in and ‘finish’ the task in the dry my brother gave her for Christmas. I could never understand this except I guess it was just something she was accustomed to.
