The ATTORNEY GENERAL needs to file CRIMINAL CHARGES against multiple IRS apparatchiks (including Lerner) who betrayed their trust to the American people. This should NEVER have been allowed to become US and THEM (to quote Pink Floyd). This is America … and Obama et.al. weaponized our own government against the people. That’s TREASON in my view.
I will not be AT ALL happy until Lerner’s life is dissected like a frog rudely cut up by a HS Sophomore. There needs to be a PENALTY PAID for LYING to the American people with impunity. Taking the 5th Amendment and making speeches about her “innocence”. Yeah … well … Iiiiii … will decide her “innocence” AFTER a first class economic Forensic investigation into her life and lifestyle.

Lerner is guilty….of following policies and taking cues from those above her in the Obama administration. The reason she enjoyed 4 years of leniency is precisely because of that. If she takes the fall alone, justice will not have been served. Hopefully in charging her, they are after much bigger fish. Even if others don’t go to jail, exposing the hatred that the O administration had for huge swaths of American citizens (and the approval that administration had for using any means possible to target “those enemies”)is a worthwhile venture.
I don’t know whether she dreamed up the targeting of conservative groups, (knowing full well that her actions were in line with O’s attitudes towards those groups) or whether she was directed by others, but either way, it should be an interesting show. I hope she sings loud and clear, and takes down as many others as possible!

But at least a significant percentage of the US population will know. Up here in Canuckistan, all we really have is Rebel Media and a few blogs like SDA. These are helping to reinforce and inform true conservatives, but are not reaching the larger population to the extent that CTV is. (Bees Pee upon them!)
I suspect there will be one of two reactions.
The first is that she will be portrayed as a persecution victim, a loyal civil servant cut down by an unjust regime for ‘just doing her job’.
The second is that given her offences and the weaponization of the IRS was so egregious that she will be thrown to the wolves for her role in ‘contaminating’ the otherwise pristine virtue of the Obama administration.
Do I really need to use sarc/off here? The problem for the left of course is that these two defenses are mutually exclusive. It will be amusing watching the infighting as they sort out which of these two they will use to protect Obama’s so-called legacy.

Lerner may eventually get her day in the can but first – and this applies to a lot of people and a lot of regulations – the Obama bureaucrats with have to be parsed from the system almost entirely. That’s not an easy job and it will take a while. It has to start by putting the right people at the top of each organization/department and then ‘draining the swamp’ as the saying goes.
Then, and only then, will people like Lerner and Ratface Holder and Lynch and Hillary and maybe even Obama get what is due according to the law.

“Prison” is any time longer than that in a state or federal facility.
