It is a very important thing to remember; you will not always be in charge. Every rule you make will eventually be used as a club up side your own head.
The next move should be impeachment against every Democratic appointee that is still employed.
It was that easy – wow? The Democrats are forgetting that a Republican Senate passed Obama’s appointees except for the lame duck one.
The elimination of the Senate filibuster drains the swamp and forces the Republicans to govern without the wheeling & dealing behind smoke filled rooms… No more Pork for campaign donors (Patty getting money for Wash State foresters). The Senators will have to come to work & earn consideration… Not to mention the Lose to the MSM of the drama & suspense… In 2017 the parties are not capable of 1960 partisanship sharing of the pork…The use of the filibusters was/is a corrupt concept of democracy…
Debate & then close the debate by a majority vote… Then vote on the Motion… The result will be a greater number of those in favor without the political hobbles… Nothing for a minority that does nothing….

The tradition of compromise only worked when the other side was willing to be reasonable. For decades the Republican version of compromise was to merely capitulate – sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly. The Democrat version of compromise has been “Sign this into law without reading it, or my lap dogs (MSM) will accuse you of being uncompromising.”
Throwing labels out like “extremism” no longer holds water, as anybody who disagrees with any lefty agenda is accused of being on the extreme.
Time to treat your enemies the same way they treat you. But first you have to recognize that they are your enemies. Quit trying to strike a “compromising pose” (Let the reader interpret that how they wish!). The Democrats are your enemies, and so are the MSM. Trump realized that early, and treated them as such. Now he is free to do what he believes is right, without trying to appear compromising, as he knows and has accepted that the MSM will smear him no matter what, as they are his enemies. The rest of the GOP would do well to follow suit.
The short version – why compromise or seek consensus with spoiled, screaming brats who only throw temper tantrums when they don’t get their way?
