  1. Ironically, when I watched the video about the ”field of ducks,” I had just watched this.
    Sad!!

Interesting to note that a dingo can rotate it’s paws like we can our wrist. They can actually open a door knob!!

“CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA – Australia has joined the club of power-market pandemonium created by heavy-handed government intervention. Wholesale electricity prices have doubled, equivalent to a $50-per-tonne carbon tax. Investment has come up short after Australia decommissioned 10 per cent of its power capacity since 2012.
More bad news is expected. Consumers in the populated states will face power shortages for the next seven years, like the recent statewide blackout in South Australia.”

“McKenna has few allies in Washington for the climate change battle
WASHINGTON – On the day Catherine McKenna blew into a storm-tossed Washington, scientists reported that two-thirds of the Great Barrier Reef off Australia is dead or dying.
On the same day, the National Park Service reported that the piercing cold in the usually balmy capital – which made our minister of the environment and climate change, who had just been winter camping in Quebec with her children, grateful she had brought along her full-length down-filled coat – had killed half the Japanese cherry blossoms on the trees around the Tidal Basin.
That isn’t as bad as the news from Down Under; the cherry blossoms, unlike the bleached coral, will return next year. But it presaged the bad news facing McKenna as she met her counterpart, Scott Pruitt, head of the Environmental Protection Agency.
On that day, she also learned that the agency’s budget would be cut by 31 per cent. It had been 24 per cent but the White House, worried that the agency might still be conscious, gave it another whack for good measure.”

Utter insanity .. just to support a handful of elitist trendy weenies who want to be seen as environmentally friendly but too f**king lazy to walk or ride up a hill with their $6 000 titanium bicycles.
    Unreal.

  5. Justin and his pack better not be hiking or adding any new taxes if he wants to keep his vow to help the middle class. Taxes are what affect the middle class most. The rich can complain but still pay their taxes, keep their homes.
Ontario residents are going to get screwed provincially from stem to stern as well. a double whammy of major proportions. Wynne hasn’t got enough money to stuff in all the pockets so it will be the Peter/Paul routine on a large scale. Watch out for your pensions.

  6. Fight back. Here is a petition in response to M 103.
    https://petitions.parl.gc.ca/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-909
    Whereas:
Differential justice based on an individual’s religion is prejudicial and preferential, therefore, an amendment to the Constitution Act of 1982 would ease the minds of all Canadians and ensure equal treatment for everyone under the Criminal Code of Canada.
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to propose an amendment to the Constitution Act of 1982, under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, stating that Sharia Law or separate Sharia family courts will never have a place in the Canadian Justice System.

  7. That petition is a start.
But if you might want to have a backup plan.
Go petition the advocates of M103 to support legal action against any act of Parliament that tries to impose a two tier justice system based on religious preference. Particularly if said act attempts to impose legislation against aposty (sp).
Its sometimes a good idea to employ a means test like this on what they say their intent is.

    Sears R.I.P.?
my Sears story: living in Thorold ON late 70s. first home I owned, honed my reno skills. daughter is asthmatic, so I install a Sears brand electronic filter on the furnace. the charging unit, ie power supply fails. I talk to mgmt. at the nearby Sears store, pleading my case: my kid is asthmatic, I really need the filter but am a young working married man (late 20s). would they consider waiving the labour charge to fix the unit?
I have never forgotten they did just that. would walmart do likewise today? no friggin way.
    screw walmart.
