Going back to the 1940’s, since when does a wiretap expert leave evidence behind?
What are they looking for?? They have transmitters the size of a low dose Aspirin that can be placed inside an apartment and that can record several conversations from blocks away. Hackers can listen to a conversation from anywhere to anywhere in the world, and most likely on the moon if the astronaut has a satellite cell. Wiretapping is simply listening to a conversation. I taped phone calls when I was a teenager in 1965. For fun of course. Nobody knew they were being taped. And no technology at the time could trace our tap! Wake up America!
And by the way, who are the ”Russians??” Is it the mechanic at the muffler shop who speaks like Putin and looks like Rodney Dangerfield?? Or is it the pole dancer at the Cherry Lounge who drives a new Mercedes??

Well, if the wiretapping was officially ordered there will be records, logs, dates, and possibly the recordings themselves. Even if if was ordered off the books, there will be records somewhere of the equipment being used.

Definitely sounds like a felon was committed by one of JugEars’ top intel or DOJ thugs leaking info to the media and hopefully one of the Repubs will have the stones to pursue (I doubt it though – they are for the most part a spineless bunch). But then again Banafor sounds like he may have been tied in with some Russkies over a big gas deal and what the hell was Flynn doing working for Turkey? Mind you, I don’t think Trump in any way knew of or certainly wouldn’t condone such behavior.
It was also revealed that there is no evidence that any Russian interference changed any votes in the swing states in the election. Hillary lost on her own.
As an aside, there’s another aspect of this whole brouhaha that is quite interesting to observe.
The very same kind of people who normally conjure up mistrust, disbelief and evil conspiracy whenever the CIA, NSA or FBI are involved in anything are now the ones crowing about the intelligence “evidence”.
The intelligence guys were accused of doctoring the Iraq WMD evidence but, hey, now they have clear evidence of Trumpo-Russian skullduggery!

Not as concerned with Flynn’s conversations with Russians than with his ties to Egordan (Turkish prime minister).
Far as that goes, Russian ambassador’s job is to make contact with as many people as possible, so chances that he spoke with members of Hillary’s campaign are also pretty high.
There’s no crime in speaking with somebody. Listening is more important, of course, but it’s amazing how much a person can learn by listening.

The troubling part is Trump is blamed for collaboration with the Russians based on wire taps. Trump complained about the wiretaps that were widely reported in the press and is written off as paranoid because there were no wiretaps. Trump should let Comey know that unless he gets to the bottom of the wiretaps and the leaks he might as well pack his bags. I doubt the wiretaps were even CIA. It was likely the NSA or CIA playing out of bounds. Note that a primary job of the CIA is disinformation and when in recorded history has the NSA ever told the truth?

Comey was absolutely definitive that his (FBI Task Force) ducks are all in a row. He knows all the Sources of the media Leaks and they are not from a Trump wire tap (legal or Illegal). He has enough evidence to recommend indictments of treason to the DOJ and to declare Trump lied above wiretapping.
