  1. Lawmakers probe US funding for Soros groups, left-wing causes in Europe
George Soros’ alleged meddling in European politics has caught the attention of Congress.
Concerns about Soros’ involvement most recently were raised by the Hungarian prime minister, who last week lashed out at the Soros “empire” and accused it of deploying “tons of money and international heavy artillery.”
But days earlier, Republican lawmakers in Washington started asking questions about whether U.S. tax dollars also were being used to fund Soros projects in the small, conservative-led country of Macedonia.

  2. This backbench muslime MP is to be congratulated for clearly demonstrating why so many average Canadians consider muslimes selfish and untrustworthy.
Her adamant refusal to remove the specific references to Islam from the motion, to make it all inclusive and truly Canadian, speaks volumes. That refusal to compromise and find common ground makes it obvious to everyone that her agenda is promoting Islam, not Canadian values of equality, impartiality, objectivity, and inclusiveness.

  3. I think Burton Cummings just runs out of ideas halfway through writing a song, so he just keeps repeating the last couple of lines he wrote. Sorta the opposite to Gordon Lightfoot, who just keeps on churning out ideas and doesn’t know when the hell to stop the damn song.

  4. The following link is a FBI security report on John Chancellor…He was appointed by LBJ in 1965 to head up Voice of America… He returned to NBC and was a leading News Anchor. In ~ 1984 his career went sideways at NBC ( 1984 Dem convention in San Francisco) hint I wonder what is in the file of Don Lemon, or Jeff Zucker of CNN
I post this as an example of the FBI security background checks of Presidential appointments….

“On Thursday President Trump liberated coal miners from the shackles of an Obama rule many in the industry believe was designed to destroy the coal industry.
If you want to see happiness, see the following video of Robert Murray, founder and CEO of Murray Energy, America’s largest underground coal mining business, explaining what Trump’s repeal of a grossly unfair Obama administration rule means for himself, and for the 10s of thousands of workers who depend on his business for their livelihoods.”
