“Canadians deeply dislike Trump, but prefer him to Trudeau on economy, security: poll”
That statement is a stinging indictment of the concept of universal suffrage.
What a surprise, those Canadians men that have IQ equal to a Turnip.. Will pick the Spud… The Canadian Women will pick the pussy grabber & the power of the Root.. Chinese erotic proberb
Most urban Canadians are easily duped to believe that the CBC and other leftist media are telling them ‘the truth’, and anything that disagrees is dismissed as ‘fake news’.
They would have been “Good Nazis with unquestioning love for their Fuhrer” right to the end.
Those turnips over at Presstitute Central are still using polls?
They did so well with them polly things with Trump versus Hillary..
Yet they expect their readers to trust the polls now?
Trump Derangement Syndrome is just getting warmed up, I predict massive head explosions to follow.
Drowning in Liberal Tears, may they water my crops.
Yeah I wonder about those polls but it probably happens this way:
After a hard day the average dude has channel surfed onto Premier League Darts or something like that and then some pollster rings him up and starts asking him these inane leading questions and rather than fight it he just says ‘sure sure’ so he can get back to brain wave neutrality and before you know it he finds he has politically aligned himself with the Communist Party. Happens a lot.
This stuff is disheartening as hell. Look at the other numbers it’s absolutely dismal. I do hope whoever is elected as CPC leader can start to turn things around here but it’s not looking good folks. We might be stuck with the little potato for a long time.
Take a look at the chart.
Trudeau – who thought that giving parkas to Yazidi children fleeing to Mount Sinjar was better than soldiers protecting them and who called prioritising Yazidis and Iraqi Christians “disgusting” – is considered to be compassionate by the same poll-takers who swear that he is a leader.
Who the hell is being asked for these polls? Who? Find him. Find him and kick his @$$.
Feel free to parse through the chart at your leisure. There are volumes to speak about it.
I’m gobsmacked that Trudeau is so highly regarded by so many Canadians. To me it cements the already obvious intersection of: 1) superficial Trudeau platitudes; 2) a fawning media; and 3) a compliant, low-information citizenry. The idea that he is highly intelligent, caring, or inspirational is laughable. He is and has always been a second-class intellect with a first class ambition, who believes that his destiny has always been to be Prime Minister like his father was. I cannot repeat this enough: he believes that his current role is his destiny. Why such an obvious, ego-driven politician doesn’t concern others is beyond me.
God how I hate family political dynasties.
obvious intersection of: 1) superficial Trudeau platitudes; 2) a fawning media; and 3) a compliant, low-information citizenry.
That nails it. The low-information citizenry are linked by social media
The access to technology and information hasn’t made the general population smarter, it’s mostly given them the ability to share more stupid shít faster with a huge group of easily duped and manipulated sheeple. They would have been entranced by HerrHitler and would have loved and followed him unquestionably to the bitter end. Not surprisingly he too was using the anti-Semite/Islamophillic con on his people too.
A stroll through the sea of sheeple will scarcely get your ankles wet.
That poll is wrong. No way Canadians think Trudeau is smarter that Trump. Trudeau was once outsmarted by a rock.
It is possible that you are being sarcastic.
It is also possible that you are telling the truth.
Polls? Are we pretending to subject ourselves to polls again?
Polls may be good, they may be bad, the only thing we can be sure of is that the MEDIA that promotes them has no good intent for us or truth, Citizen.(lowly subject aye)
I like President Trump, and the intent of President Trump’s efforts. He looks to intend to serve.
That said, polls, if they aren’t clearly manipulating mass opinion now, are setting the present up as a lens through which to skew the future.
Please. Do not give a care or thought to what others may think now or later, keep your interests, keep your own hopes, your own council, and watch what the new American President Trump is trying to do and compare them on behalf of your own interests.
President Trump says America First. Good. It is a net plus if what comes of POTUS Trump’s policy is Canadian politicians might emulate him, it is a good thing if these Canadian pols begin to publically care for Canada instead of just enriching themselves and their parties.
Again: If Trump is only a new better standard for politicians, he is welcomed by me no matter how much it costs Canada economically in the short term.
After all, our present politicians are hurting us, not formulating policies with a goal to improve our lives or benefit Canada.
Rather, I view their policies as meant to serve their political agenda(UN Agenda 21) regardless of the cost to Canada and Canadians.
And Ontario PC Tim Hudak was Hitler for wanting to eliminate 50,000 civil servant jobs all through attrition and not direct layoff but the Clown Prince is a saint for wanting to bring 50,000 homeless Moslems to Canada every year for all his four years. [Saline Playground!]

Fake polls… oh well, it gives the Media something to do… “Turd smarter than Trump, ha,ha,ha… yeah sure… I think they meant smarter than a shrub… Fake Polls.
Donald Trump is a self made Billionare and we are supposed to believe that an unemployed drama teacher/skate board instructor is smarter? Not even the Canuck Turdeau worshiping media can make this BS fly. Obviously most of the people who swallow the Mainstream Media BS have been indoctrinated in government schools to the point that they believe what they see repeatedly on the six o clock news.
None of those words can be used to describe the Spawn. That polling is nonsense. Here is a recent poll from Europe where the majority supports a ban on Muslim immigration: https://www.chathamhouse.org/expert/comment/what-do-europeans-think-about-muslim-immigration
The west reawakening to the civilizational clash that has been going on for the last 1400 years is the story that won’t go away for the multi-culti progs who will do anything to hush it up.
I’m a Canadian, and I happen to like everything Trump is doing. I also think he’s smarter and has far superior leadership qualities than Trudeau, Jr.
The poll, like all buggy-whip media reporting and commentary on the subject, fails to see the very basic point that everything Trump has proposed doing has an economic and national security angle to it. (As an aside, that includes health care, where the prevailing buggy-whip conventional wisdom vastly overestimates the role of “compassion” and “social responsibility” in the imperative to provide affordable and accessible health coverage: you can’t have an economically sustainable and secure country without it, and you can’t do it on other than a risk-pooled basis — even private insurance plans are only provided on that basis).
But the part of the poll that I find most interesting is that Canadians disapprove of Trump 56% on immigration, but approve of him 51% on national security. Well, Trump’s mother was an immigrant and his grandfather was an immigrant, and, as far as I can tell, he’s pretty proud of that; his outreach to the U.K. is clearly motivated in some measure by that feeling. And we surely must look to Trudeau, Jr.’s wickedly careless and scary recent statements on immigration as a significant factor in the recent decline in Liberal support.
So, what gives, exactly? Despite the buggy-whippers’ deliberate and obvious attempts, on both sides of the border, to tar Trump’s policies on illegal immigration as anti-immigrant, Canadians, as represented in this poll, must detect a national security interest in Trump’s policies on vetting (of which the “controversial” EO is just a precursory step; it’s not a complete vetting policy, by any means), the wall and enforcement. What else of a concrete nature has he done so far on the “national security” front? And what else of a concrete nature has he done on immigration? Nothing, on both counts.
Trump’s clearest statement on the subject (as well as on health care measures, by the way) was included in his superb address to the Republican Congressional retreat in Philadelphia in the last week of January, 2017. The link is here, if readers have not already seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X08l2m_fCg
In that speech, he stated (paraphrasing) that illegal immigration is a serious national security threat to the United States. He starts in on this subject at about the 12 minute mark. The entire speech is well worth the time, and puts paid, IMO, to any defective notion that Trudeau, Jr. is “smarter” than he is. (Aside, again: in that speech, Trump lays bare his political calculus on the repeal and replacement of Obamacare; I can’t recall another instance of such frankness in a public political speech that I have heard from anybody on any subject).
At any rate, I suspect that Canadians are closer to Trump on illegal immigration than they are to Trudeau, Jr.’s platitudes. In that regard, he should probably quit with the amateur hour stunts like criticizing Kellie Leitch as a means of defending his broken promises on other subjects.
Canada is a post national fake country why would polls not be fake as well?
Polls ,like the print media, are dead fools walking.
Having been shown as the tools of the lying “opinion shapers”, trust is gone.
How many people are going to voluntarily give up some of their personal time to people they already despise and distrust?
Pollsters call my landline, also a relic, always at supper time. They seldom get a courteous reply from this household.
So how many Canadians still have landlines?
How many still bother with courtesy to fools and bandits?/Pollsters?
Naturally the CBC Luvvies will insist their polls show….,whatever they want them to.
Once upon a time, these narrative shaping memes worked, the” HERD SAYS”, now as “Diversity is our strength”, would even a good herdbeast know who to follow?
All Hail Kleptocracy/Discordia.
So … for the average Canadian citizen … If only Trump would embrace Carbon taxes, embrace transgendered bathrooms, eliminate free speech, increase Muslim immigration, cede the country to uncivilized nomads who inhabited the territory, end all scientific animal testing, ban gun ownership, and increase income taxes on “the rich” … then, they would support Trump’s pro-business presidency.
And I honestly don’t believe that is hyperbole.
Trump might just take a shine to turdo la doo. I think he’s got a thing for tits.
Give Trump one year in the White House, and the question may be, ”Would you you be in favour of joining the USA?”
…Trudeau easily tops Trump among Canadian voters when it come to perceptions of intelligence, compassion, honesty and several other measures. …
Justimbecile Trudeau more intelligent than Trump?
Who did they ask? Canadians with IQs below 80 who would not know intelligence if it bit them in the 4ss?
Trudeau is the dumbest prime minister Canada has ever had, Trump may be rough around the edges but he is a brilliant man, he is not succesful because he is a cute snow board instructor.
Well said!
Just watch Trump deal directly with Alberta and Saskatchewan and make Trump an irrelevant ‘yes boy’. Western Canada has what Trump wants to trade for, he doesn’t need Ont, Que or Atlantic Canada. Resources are a Provincial responsibility and they can tell Ottawa to lead, follow, or get out of the way.
That totally nails the Canadian Left-Wing attitude and why they love to hate Trump even more than they loved to hate Harper or even Bush.
This poll was probably taken in downtown Toronto, which is almost 99% Liberal.
Correction:
Trunp will make Trudeau an irrelevant ‘yes boy’
It’s like comparing apples and mandarins
