Week Two

Ed Morrissey;

This has to be the best fortnight conservatives have had in at least a decade, and probably well before that. It’s difficult to recall a two-week period where so much of the conservative agenda has been advanced as far and as rapidly as we have seen now. While conservatives can rightly criticize the implementation of the travel pause and other stumbles in the new administration, and while other fights loom — especially infrastructure and entitlement reform — we have to also acknowledge that Trump has delivered far more than conservatives dared hope. So far, so good, but to be clear … we won’t get tired of winning in the future.

Yes. I had written doubts about Mr. Trump, but now that he is President Trump I am very pleased and happy too.
There is so much for President Trump to do, but, I hope that he makes his power and position as POTUS safe and solid in order to further his agenda.
    I am trusting him.
I am praying for his safety and that of his family. President Trump is truly choosing the seldom traveled path and that way lies danger.
    Hooray for Donald Trump!
If he accomplishes all that he has promised he will be the best POTUS of my lifetime and although he will put America first, I am sure that even if Canada experiences some hard times due to certain issues, Americans will prosper and Canadians will generally prosper and do historically well.
God save the Queeen. God save the American President.

  2. As we see today, even the bought and paid for left wing judiciary, a Seattle judge of course, is working against him, choosing immigrants over Americans. Oh well, one temporary setback over massive winning, that’s about a 97% winning streak

What a shame conservatism has been dead for a decade. Nationalism as “America First” is the winning strategery. Putting one nation’s own interest ahead of the rent seekers in other nations and in the cesspools of America is working. Conservatism is a dead ideology: standing aside the progressive hard left yelling “Wait, we’ll just lessen the impact of your destructive ideas. Just listen to us, you’ll see!” is not how one gets to keep a nation alive.

  4. Conservatism these days mainly involves promising the exact same things as the left, but with 20% less government funding than the left has earmarked for it.

  5. I haven’t stepped foot in the US since Jan 2009, maybe it’s time to plan a vacation and spend some money there now.
We still need to see some judicial purging though, starting with the Clintons.

  6. I will forever thank Ed Morissey for exposing the Gomery Commission findings on The Captains Quarter. It opened up the world of blogs, news aggregates and unfiltered information…yes you MSM

  7. No one better exposes progressives for what they are: bullies.
That alone has me drooling over Trump.

  8. A fantastic 2 weeks yes, but it appears the spineless establishment Repubs in Congress are only willing to “repair” Obamacare instead of tossing it in a wood chipper which is what a majority of Americans demand. Fairies.

  9. Making the Democrats, especially Hillary Clinton, take a turn at not having the Presidency was all I dared rely on from Donald Trump winning. But I hoped, and President Trump has already achieved more than I hoped he would. I’m very glad to see our long-suffering neighbours are getting relief from the years of progressive misrule, and though it looks like Canada is going to suffer somewhat before we catch on, I won’t begrudge Americans the benefits they will enjoy from their path.

  10. Interesting. I was contemplating reacting to our newest outraged Libertarian (or pretend Libertarian as alot of them are) and thinking the better of it (why bother?) but then I saw my foreign street-signs Captcha was “Traffic ASOLES” and knew that I at least had to make this comment. So here it is. 🙂

  11. So what happened to all the anti-Trump cucks that used to post here pre-election? Haven’t seen them around. I expected more mindless autistic screeching from them.

  12. Trump is learning a lesson, he has always had Smart people around him.. Now he has a Chief of Staff that has filled the West Wing with slime balls from (RINO Establishment) Rubio.. etc. They are leaking to nonsence to CNN MSN.. Tried to put a Neo-Con in Dept of Defense.. Loyalty does not exist in Stupidity ..Drain the Swamp
The NFL Director (FOX) BOB L is a sincere sports supporter. He will not allow the NFL to be used by Hair Balls.. Most likely put Madonna on a delay & have a backup of Homer Simpson singing a Madonna song…We both know of a Fox Directer to came home & found all his Porn Mag in the Pool and his wife gone “back” to NYC..

  13. In Saskatchewan we have the socialist, fascist, union thug, communist, party called the NDP (oxymoron). And then we have the Liberal lite Saskatchewan party. We also have a Progressive Conservative party but I don’t know what they stand for and their presence is inconsequential. Our choices to keep the ‘thug party’ out of power are limited. Canada does not have a party of conservative values of any consequence. So who do you vote for, or as I decide, who do you vote against.
