  1. Heh, watch those membership numbers soar now.
No wonder the Left is so keen on “youth brigades” or “red guard”, because it takes your choices to join away. Yup, I see a lot of community home schooled scout groups on the horizon, and that’s not a bad thing at all.

  2. Ain’t got nothin on the Christian Boys League. Study scripture, and then rough house to blow off steam.

  4. Does that mean that they (Boy Scouts) are now going to allow transgender girls?? A transgender girl (tranny) is a boy, t’aint it?? As for transgender boys, aren’t they girls and should they not be in the Guides selling cookies??
What a f$*ked up society! Where will it end?? And in 1958, we laughed at reversible sweaters!

  5. Re: Good old days?
And I used to fell bad because my mama made me wear a reversible sweater!

  6. As I mentioned on other threads, any earth tremors felt recently would likely have been caused by Lord Baden-Powell rolling in his grave.

  7. For those with kids who are uncomfortable with the changes to the Boy Scouts, allow me to recommend the 4H club.

  8. Know how serious we are supposed to treat this quebec shooting? Peter Mansbridge was reporting from on location. It was that serious.

  9. The Japanese government is moving ahead with its plans to build up to 45 new coal fired power stations. …Japan needs to import 95 per cent of all its energy sources…
The power plants will utilise high energy, low emissions (HELE) technology that use high-quality black coal.
Japan is the largest overseas market for Australian coal producers, taking more than a third of all exports.
…in the wake of the Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011, Japan started importing more liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Australia.
… the move to more coal fired power was because coal was cheaper than LNG, and the energy security was priority for the government.

Myron Ebell served as head of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) transition team from early September until 19 January, when he helped to draft an advisory action plan on how to implement Trump’s campaign promises.”

  13. As a health care worker I have mentioned on this blog my resistance in principle to forced flu vaccine. As a libertarian I believe we should have the right to informed choice when it comes to flu vaccine (the science is not settled). This a link to a long, but interesting read. The writer points out once again the media’s misinformation and spin wrt to President Trump.
(I personally am not opposed to children’s vaccine, but I don’t trust Big Pharma)
