When Character Is Revealed

With signature modesty, the ‘protestors’ assert some imagined territorial and proprietary claim to a shared space that these self-indulgent shit stains are merely passing through, while deliberately frustrating anyone else’s attempt to use the space for its intended purpose. They disregard normal boundaries and behave obnoxiously, selfishly, because it makes them feel important, and powerful.

And yet they imagine themselves as righteous and heroic.

  1. The young man that stood up reminded me of the famous picture of the man who held up his arm in front of the Red army tanks at the start of the Tienanmen Square Massacre. They both stand athwart a force.

  2. In a preemptive strike against scholarship, hard work, and competence … The University of CA … in an effort to achieve some nebulous goal of “diversity” … have LIMITED the number of Asians admidded to the University. The UC System now favors “diversity” over scholarship. Over GPA. Over SAT. Over IQ

  3. Today’s lesson should they choose to accept, is that they just got a preview of the voice of someone they will be working for or having to treat well as a customer of their future default service career… unless they grow up and switch to a field of study with promise, something that doesn’t have “studies” after it.

  4. The young man who told them to put a sock in it is probably going the same guy they’ll be seeking job interviews with when they graduate.
    Good luck with that, losers.

  5. Everywhere I go,I see these SJW’s chanting their bullsh**. At the universities and colleges in Canada,it’s always white kids with the odd black or Native thrown into the mix, but never the Asian kids.
The Asian students never seem to get involved in protests, probably because they are pursuing real studies that will lead to a real career, while the SJW’s prepare for their jobs at starbuckles.
I very much admire the actions of that young man in the video with his one short statement carrying so much more weight than the moronic chant,”who’s got the power”. “This is a library.”
Thank god you don’t have the power you fascist mental midgets.

  6. For just a moment I feared for his safety, in danger of imminent attack for his cynicism.
BTW, if we all have the power which is equal power then nobody’s got the power – we end up having to put somebody in charge, just to manage things.
Then they have the power. So they can stop chanting, it’s already happened. Anyway they should all be Trump fans if they want equal power.
Alas, they want to be more equal.

  7. C.S. Lewis once wrote that the dark side of Democracy was the morphing from what it truly is – a system of choosing leaders, to the descent into the belief that “I’m as good as you.” So now we have “My opinion is equal to yours, even though you have a whole whack of facts, and I only have my intuitive feelings” or this moronic “we have the power” chant.
Specifically, what do you want? What are you trying to accomplish? What are you going to do with this “power” you chant about? Basically, they want to feel important. Like pretty much everything else on the left, it is all about feelings, image, and self perception – not about doing. They will not have the power of the young Asian man, because they will do nothing of value to attain it. Their vote will count the same as his (regrettably, and assuming that voter fraud is curtailed in the next election) but that is where the equality ends. Democracy makes our votes equal, but it does not make our opinions of equal value, it does not make our “truths” equal, our character of equal value, or our lives.
So suck it up, cupcakes, and go DO something. You have health, youth, and opportunity…more than most of the world. You dishonor yourselves.
