1. I was told by a black acquaintance that its called “white water rafting” because only white people are crazy enough to go out in it.
   After a pause for reflection, I congratulated him on his perspicacity. ~:)

5. I posted a comment about “Blackwater Corp” the evil military organization popular with GWB being about to raft wherever it wanted to but it mus, complete with a hotlink. It must have be micro aggressive as it is confined to the moderator dust bin.

6. I’ve done it. Red Deer River just north of Coal Camp @ 90cubic meters per second flow in spring time.
   We were all given knives to cut ourselves free from our life preservers in case of capsize and being trapped under deadfalls in the river flow.
   It was a gas. I was a little bloody when we reached our destination.
