Then, last Sunday evening, during the NFL playoff game between the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers, the FBI posted on its website more than 300 emails that Clinton had sent to an unnamed colleague not in the government — no doubt her adviser Sid Blumenthal — that had fallen into the hands of foreign powers. It turns out — and the Sunday night release proves this — that Blumenthal was hacked by intelligence agents from at least three foreign governments and that they obtained the emails Clinton had sent to him that contained state secrets. Sources believe that the hostile hackers were the Russians and the Chinese and the friendly hackers were the Israelis.
Wishful thinking. Those “300 emails that Clinton had sent” are actually ~300 pages of the FBI’s own investigative records. Not exactly the same thing.
I suspect that Obama will not grant a pardon to Mrs. Clinton as that would make Trump’s life far too easy. That way, if Trump gives Sessions the nod, even if a special prosecutor is enlisted, Trump will be vilified by the left as mean spirited, sexist, you name it. I say, go for it. Put the evil one behind bars and then Bill can get back to that pedophile Island in peace. Time for the Clintons to go away.
The trick here is that nobody reopens the investigation while Obama still has executive authority to grant a pardon, and he can’t grant a pardon if there isn’t an investigation. That would be an admission that there is a cover up and Obama is part of it. And then he becomes the person of interest while Clinton inc. makes a clean break to start paving the way for Chelsea in 2020.
No best to keep the powder dry till after inauguration day.

You don’t need an investigation to have the President issue you a pardon. Obama could give Hillary a pardon to protect her from her crimes as SoS; however, if Hillary ACCEPTS the pardon that amounts to an admission of her guilt. Now that wouldn’t that burn up the internet?
But if Hillary accepts the terms of the Pardon, then it’s and enforceable defacto admission of guilt to a felony. This will preclude her of holding any elected office and certain appointed offices forever
And you would have to pardon Billy, Web Hubbell’s daughter and the entire Clinton circle of hundreds in order to keep all of the bodies buried.

If Trump was smart he would pardon the Clintons . He would also quit reacting to every useless tit that critisizes him. He looks strong on the victories he has had keeping jobs and he should concentrate on that strength. The only reason Hillary had a private server was to sell American’s country for her personal gain.

He should not pardon Hilary because she is not guilty – because I believe she is and even if she is it is highly unlikely that she will go to jail – but because of the level it would elevate him to .
Gotta agree… I got money that says Obama pardons her on the 19th. That effectively buries his involvement, and our fawning press will spin it as “moving on”, “good for the Nation”, etc. Clinton will accept it out of the goodness of her heart, “not admitting wrong doing”, etc.
steakman, it’s people like you, who have absolutely NO street smarts, that are part of the problem. Street smarts dictate that you use their own “ways” to defeat them, and keep doing till problem solved. In todays case, that might mean an actual shooting war at some time, and in some place. This problem of stupid lefties is not isolated to one place or one country, it’s western world wide. And it is not just a recent problem either, it has been building up for more than 50 years.

For a lot of reasons, I expect the e-mail/classified-document scandal to simply fade to a historical footnote. The bigger scandal appears to be the Clinton Foundation, and if anything can put a Clinton behind bars, that would do it.
I’ll simply put my money on Preet Bharara and his relentless efforts at uncovering high-level corruption. It appears he has his sights on the Clinton Foundation, and is content with a patient but thorough investigation followed by indictments. Simply put, it’s not Trump that is the Clintons’ worst nightmare, it’s Preet Bharara.
Concerned; I do understand the desire to “move-on”. However It will be almost impossible to “Sand the infected wooden floor of the Barn” until the Manure is Scraped Clean.
