On Jan 11th, 1995 the Birmingham Barracudas were granted a CFL franchise. It didn’t end well.
Here’s a clip of two teams that no longer exist. About the only thing worthy of mention is who I am pretty sure is Warren Moon doing colour commentary with that CBC guy, a job Moon now does for the Seattle Seahawks radio broadcast. (Which I never miss.)

  6. This should bring a lot of joy to the Libtards out there, as for our Canadian peace-keepers well not so much. It would seem that it is easier and cheaper for a gang-banger to get a gun in Chicago than it is to get equipment for the Canadian Armed Forces. I’m surprised our ‘feminist’ Prime Minister hasn’t called for every gun owning Canadian to perform their patriotic duty and turn in their fire-arms in order that we can have armed ‘piece-keepers’ dispatched to the next UN trouble spot. Just think they could have a twofer, confiscate all the guns and then equip the Forces, only the deployed members would be issued with a gun as they left the country. Maybe I’ve said too much, liable to give them ideas.

  12. Yesterday I opined that a tell in a ridiculous story like PeeGate is the detail that’s just too neat: the very bed that Lord Obama himself slept in.
    Gerard, at American Digest (long ago recommended by EBD), offers a much more detailed accounting of how utterly ridiculous the story is and what a complete moron Trump would have to have been and what a total moron you would have to be to buy this nonsense, even for a micro second. Breathtaking!
