2. Yeah, so what? Why should I pay high taxes to artificially prolong someone’s terminal illness by a few months. If you want that, then buy your own insurance. The state should offer nothing more than unlimited free morphine for the terminally ill.

3. Highest gasoline tax in the US happens to be in my state…federal and state taxes total just over 76 cents per gallon (embarrassingly higher than California even). Compared to this Canadian extortion, it seems petty…until you hear the justification for the most recent increase here. Roads and bridges….roads and bridges…hmmmm where did I hear that before? Oh right…the TRILLION Dollar shovel ready jobs funding package set forth at the inception of Obama’s presidency that apparently didn’t fix anything of substance other than crony compatriots pockets.
