The Antarctic Circumpolar Current is clear evidence of climate change, caused by all that nasty carbon produced by humans. By taxing the dickens out of all those peasants (i. e., conservative voters) in Canada, the wind will die down, the southern ocean will become calm, and peace, unicorns, and fairy dust will prevail, after which Juthtin will ascend to heaven.

When all this “global warming” and “climate change” rubbish started infesting public thinking some 15 years ago, I glanced at a paper in Science which discussed the patterns of ocean currents in the Atlantic. From what I gathered, there was a great deal of uncertainty about the exact path the water actually takes in some regions and what effect this might have on the oceanic heat balance.
I was a climate skeptic before I saw that paper. I was even more so afterward. If people with expertise in fields such as oceanography were debating what was happening, how, then, was it possible for anyone to claim, beyond all shadow of doubt, that the terrestrial climate was not only changing, but in an irreversible and detrimental manner.
in 100 years we might know SOMEthing.
Are these the same scientists who have this whole climate change thing nailed down and anyone who disagrees doesn’t know anything……………?
I am continually amazed by the lack of curiosity about NATURAL forces affecting climate. It almost seems as though our “climate scientists” are only interested in fudging statistics to “prove” man is changing the climate. Nature ? Natural forces ? Nahhhhhhh.
