    Staff warned that she was a danger to the public before the flash photo was snapped and she bolted for the Canadian border taking institute staff by surprise.
    Some have already speculated that this may have been a covert biological attack on Canada by elements within the Progressive Democrat Party.

  13. Essentially, this means she is okay with breaking the law. Not good behaviour from an MP. She can protest,but not illegally. If she does something illegal,she should be defeated by the voters.

  17. Not so. A criminal conviction does not automatically expel a Member from the House. Only being defeated in an election does that. There have been four previous prominent cases of criminal conviction: Fred Rose (espionage), Jack Ramsay (attempted rape, overturned on appeal), Svend Robinson (theft), Dean Del Mastro (violating Canada Elections Act). None were re-elected if they sought re-election after conviction.

  22. Laws are just and unjust. There are laws in this country which promote and are 180 degrees in direction to moral law. Abortion is one.
    Some laws are popular, hip and acceptable to break, others not so much. Just depends on “public opinion”.
    She is a Progressive, and they always lie.

She’s simply an aging leftist who yearns to have the same experiences as the 1960s civil rights demonstrators, complete with choking on tear gas and being soaked with a water cannon, being firmly dealt with by police for resisting arrest, and singing “We Shall Overcome” as she’s dragged in handcuffs into the police van. At her trial she’ll claim she’s not guilty because she was engaging in “peaceful” protest and civil disobedience, followed by reciting selected passages from revolutionary literature to justify her actions.
    It’s a sacred ritual that all socialists appear to yearn to participate in.

  25. Trendy is putting $2 Billion into the BC Coast Pollution Abatement Readiness program. His buddies in the BC Lib Party are going to election next spring and the AB left-tard movement need ocean access to counter the Trump threat. This is looking very good for Trans Mountain. The added bonus would be Lizzie getting a criminal record. If he OK’s a west coast oil export I might have to reconsider my conservative leanings.

  27. I agree with the foregoing comments. However, that doesn’t mean all of them should be expressed. Criticizing her appearance doesn’t advance the much more important issues she should be held accountable on.

  29. The Left has been at war with the deplorables for a very long time. That Liz pledges to go to jail to stop oil and gas development isn’t surprising at all. Making such irreconcilable threats is part of the job description. It’s done to tell everyone that if we cross the line there will be war. Except it’s a big lie. There already is a war going on and the Left has been fighting it in earnest for a few decades now. We’ve been outflanked, divided and with the rare exception of Donald Trump and Brad Wall, conquered. By the way Lizzie, like all Leftists, is a well practiced liar. She’d never go to jail for anything unless there was a huge dollar sign attached. For strict ideological fights there’s always someone else made to be the sacrificial lamb in a dear leader’s place.
    The Left wins if nobody to their right fights back. We need to get in the faces of these anti-Canadians to let them know right back that it’s game on.

  39. She will go to jail if she breaks the law….if she breaks the law, she should lose her seat. Also, if she is involved in any violence, she should be charged under Section 51 of the Criminal Code…..”51 Every one who does an act of violence in order to intimidate Parliament or the legislature of a province is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.”
    If she causes any damage to anything, she should be personally sued…..as should any other “protester” who does so.

  43. I agree, and with Joey’s comment. Stooping to the left’s level does no elevate the discussion regarding the merits of her actions which however do seem to show a lack of smarts.
