Stop, fools.

I have made no hiding of the fact that I’m currently supporting Maxime Bernier for CPC leadership. I like his economic policies and his general libertarian outlook. One thing is really bothering me, though.
Let us all get one really important thing straight.
It is not racist, misogynistic or xenophobic to propose that immigrants and refugees entering the country each have some face-to-face time in an interview.
I find it ironic, stupid and sickening that you are providing our opposition with the talking points they’ll be using against you if you win. Newsflash, fools, according to the Liberals, the NDP and the media, Conservatives are always going to be racists. We always hate women. We always hate immigrants. Our policies always hurt the poor. We are always against the Native population.
Stop it. Stop it, stop it. Have you learned nothing?
Pleasing your enemies does not make them your friends.
The more you attack Kellie Leitch the more you’re going to lose by and the more I am thinking of pulling from Bernier to Leitch because Conservatives are making their arguments to the media. Like they are your friends?
You had to do the digging on the Liberals various expense scandals. You had to provide the numbers to our “journalists” that proved the impossibility of Shiny’s Syrian refugee plan. You had to force them to recognize the Yazidi. You did this work, not them, YOU. The media were too busy talking about Trudeau’s socks and counting his abs that day. Just stop it, already.
Stop making what they see as their job, easier for them to do.
Here’s a thought. Maybe, just maybe, we had a change election too. Maybe no matter what policy presented or what you did, losing was inevitable. Maybe you learned the wrong lesson last November.
Perhaps, if you start sticking up for straight-forward, reasonable policies and your fellow caucus members who propose them instead of decrying everything that might have something to do with a Turban or a Prayer Mat as rasicst, you might climb in the polls too.
Now, grow up and stop talking out of class.

  1. Question. If we have about 300,000 new immigrants per year, why is the economy so slow? I have always been told they boost the economy. Sooooo……

  2. We do not need new immigrants. In fact with our unemployment numbers and the decline in good paying manufacturing jobs all immigration should be put on pause.
Don’t tell me we need immigration for the skills they bring to Canada, simply put they don’t bring any. Racist? You bet if racism is recognizing that third world engineers, teachers and doctors are still third world.
Almost every “skilled tradesman ” is so far behind the curve you may as well take an uneducated peasant and start from scratch.
We no longer recruit from Eastern Europe, which had a solid reputation as industry friendly cultures, instead we recruit the mud hut crowd, the defecate in the street crowd, and the perpetual aggrieved crowd.
Also in closing. Canada’s liveable area is about the size of Great Britain maybe a little less. We are full.

  3. Why do you people think whomever runs for the Conservative in Name Only Party has even a snowball’s chance in hell of winning?
I despise Trudeau and everything he stands for. However, he’s going to win the next election by at least the same margin. Why? Because, unlike the US, we are ruled by Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Trudeau is polling at over 65% approval. Canadians are too stupid to see they’ve elected a Trojan bill of goods.
Better to send anyone else other than the prime candidate, take the 10 point/100 seat ass kicking that’s coming and hope the electorate gets finicky in 4 years after that.
As for those of you, especially the one three from the top, that’s pro-immigration: you’re part of the problem. Every new immigrant that pops through the door lowers your wages, increases your taxes and brings their culture with them that, by and large, is not only anti-Canada but antithetical to what Canadians used to be. Have you not seen Jane/Finch, NE Calgary and Richmond? Cut immigration to only those that further Canada’s interests and maybe, just *maybe*, you get somewhere. Immigration is the root of all the issues Canada faces.
Hopefully we’ll get lucky and the US will just annex us.

  4. “Seriously, you think a questionnaire is going to stop someone who comes here to do us harm, or to take advantage of our country’s generosity?”
I agree. Also, why do employers interview employees? Really? An employer can get rid of an employee faster than a country get can rid of an immigrant … most of them have a 3 month thingy.
    An interview means NOTHING!!!!

  5. An interview won’t stop anyone who is intent on lying. But when he/she starts whining (or worse) about Canada it can be pointed out that it was clear from day 1 what was to be expected. Shape up or ship out.
Also, it is a clear contrast to Trudeau’s “post-national” view of Canada.

  6. Last fundraising call from Ottawa I told them I’m in a wait-and-see with regards to the current Conservative party, and will not make any donations until the leadership is decided (I’m abstaining from the direct vote). Two calls ago the pitchster laughed at my noting that we are on the wrong side of AGW and that when the ice returns Canada will cease to be.
The most recent call I said that I won’t participate in the leadership, but that if another Liberal-lite is selected then I’ll start backing whatever western separatist party starts up to counter-act Trudeau. I hope it doesn’t come to that, but I’m getting weary of the whole thing.
First Brexit, then Trump’s election, gave me hope. I think that they were following PMSH, and that it’ll be a bleak 20 years or so until Canada gets it right again.
heh, captcha is “public hunters”. I wonder if that should be taken as “hunters of the public”, or a reminder that an armed citizenry is the only long-term hope of freedom?

  7. I’m not saying people can’t lie.
But riddle me this – If a perspective dog owner must go through with an interview with Kate (or any reputable breeder) to purchase a dog that they have to pay for, care for, feed, pay medical … etc – then why can’t we interview someone that we have pay for, care for, feed, pay medical … etc?
And yes, I understand that a dog can’t talk.

  8. We do not need new immigrants. In fact with our unemployment numbers and the decline in good paying manufacturing jobs all immigration should be put on pause.
There was a time when Canada actively invited immigrants and that was after the end of WW II.
Both the American and Canadian economies were booming and both countries were in need of skilled labour. In Canada, big projects were underway: the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Trans-Canada Highway, and the Trans-Canada Pipeline were being built. Industry was re-tooling from the production of war materiel to everything from automobiles to refrigerators.
My parents and I came over in the mid-1950s when all this was going on. My father eventually found work in the oil industry, making a good living in his trade.
But that was more than 50 years ago. The post-war boom is long over and there’s nothing on the scale of the aforementioned projects except for, maybe, the Site C dam in northern B. C. (I would have mentioned Fort McMurray, but all that activity is up on blocks, courtesy of Red Rachel and the Potato Head.)
So how can large-scale immigration be justified nowadays?

  9. So how can large-scale immigration be justified nowadays?
It’s what lieberals always do because it buys lieberal votes. Both in terms of new voters and resident voters who can’t grasp that we’re not homesteading the prairies like their great grandparents. We don’t need more immigrants unless they’re the best and brightest that country can offer.

  10. Re: “So how can large-scale immigration be justified nowadays?”
Because “1971 was the last year the replacement-level fertility of 2.1 children per woman was reached—meaning that couples, on average, had produced enough children to replace themselves.”
You want to reduce Canada’s need for large-scale immigration? Easy — just have more babies. Unless you have three or more kids of your own, you’re not doing your part.

  11. Supply and demand.
    Couple of factors at play.
Birth control is strictly haram in mohammedan countries.
Therefore there are wave after wave of excess young men available, to go grope their way through europe like a conquering swarm of locusts.
Women’s status in the originating countries is by and large that of a sexually approachable household appliance.
The patriarchy rules the roost. That’s why so many already here, go back to get a good obedient wife from the old country. For their sons, or a second one for themselves.
Not a peep out of our western feminazis about any of this.
Nor about FGM, denial of birth control, second class citizen status, lack of education for women, and don’t even mention the western feminazi core value; unquestioned non stigmatising anytime access to abortion.
They are much too busy, busy tearing down and destroying the society they’re in.
One result is a significant portion of western men is reluctant to procreate. Sex, sure, but monogamy and mortgage, are you insane?
They have all seen divorced classmates, friends, colleagues, whose withered corpse on a stick along the path of life was a very strong Do Not Get Caught Procreating message. And yes some were deserving, but many many more were just put through the wringer emotionally and financially, because they were little target widgets up against a vast bureaucracy.
A gynocracy is maybe more accurate. It is in charge, and runs education, academia, healthcare, media, law, the judiciary and more, and all along the lines that it sees fit. Lines learned as sixties radicals, and now taught and accepted as gospel.
But they are killing the goose that laid the golden egg.
Men unwilling to reproduce, fine, we’ll import some others.
But these others won’t behave the way the current PC order expects.
The soon to be new majority is already using sharia courts to bypass whatever the old society thinks.
And their women are still barely further ahead than their sisters back home.
Nice blind spot feminazis, but then consistency and principles were never the strong suit of the left.
    Enjoy the decline!

  12. Conservatives, whenever they gather to choose a new leader, often seem to
wind up picking some low energy, uncharismatic, unsuitable, insider, doofus.
Take Ontario to heart and learn from it should be the watchword.
As Margaret Thatcher made clear, first you win the argument, then you will win
    the election and not before.
Total opposition to the Climate Change Fraud and Shiny Pony’s carbon tax mania
are the first hurdle. Anyone who won’t fight them tooth and nail is not worthy.

  13. do not bring in our enemies. if you have a problem identifying them, they would be the ones who’s holy book says they are to kill you if you don’t convert.

  14. glasnost, I will not be voting for anyone who promises to give someone something that they have to take from someone else. that has been the canadian way for decades and it has to stop before our culture and society is dead.

  15. You cannot teach “Canadian values” to people who still sh&t in their hand and believe in sharia law.

  16. “Seriously, you think a questionnaire is going to stop someone who comes here to do us harm, or to take advantage of our country’s generosity?”
Don’t you have any idea of what a Paper trail IS….All immigration documentation is SAVED…If you have no paper trail, you have ZERO recourse…It is what it IS
