There is a deeply embedded hypocrisy in the movement that gives me the creeps. David Suzuki owns multiple homes, far more than he needs for his personal “footprint.” Ottawa jets hundreds of delegates to Paris to do little more than chant their support for reducing emissions. Hollywood celebrities tweet advice for the masses while building enormous Malibu palaces. Richly financed green groups spend millions spreading propaganda among the ill-informed. It makes me think of priests who preach holiness while eyeing the altar boys.

The current rabid environmental movement has virtually nothing to do with protecting our planets eco-systems, it has everything to do with controlling western populations while leveling out the Third and First Worlds. Arrogantly ignorant and delusional eco-activists are no more than expendable pawns to do the bidding of the globalist movement.
How’s that?
Just to give you an idea about how futile, but outrageously expensive, these gestures are:

CAGW alarmists will dispute this. They’ll criticize Lomborg. They’ll talk about saving the children. What they won’t do is give you their numbers on total cost (in $) and temperature benefits (in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius).
Personally, I think PMJT is doing this as a vanity project to please his celebrity buddies and international VIPs. In his world, the “atta boys” from a few dozen of them is worth the financial harm to millions of Canadians. Especially, western Canadians. Like father, like son.

The carbon tax is simply just tax added to other tax to give to their preferential clients.
There is absolutely nothing they can do with the climate, as much as they want, they can’t do it.
Climate is so overwhelming that they don’t even have the concept down. It will do what it will do and no stinking politician is going to change it if he spends the wealth of nations on it. Though he will get prosperous doing it.
It would be akin to say that the moon is pulling the earth hither and yon and the moon can stop it if it wants to.
The talking head on the QR radio in Calgary wants the tax to be revenue neutral, what the hell is the point then. Just don’t tax extra and use what you already got.
There is no such thing as revenue neutral, the politicians will never ever reduce tax, they will shift it around and around until nobody knows what happened.
