  1. CDU is expected to remain the biggest party in Berlin and aims to form a coalition with the Greens and radical Left. Merkel has brought her centre/right party a long way. “coalition with the Greens and radical Left” That will bring out her core voters.

  2. And the results are in. SPD and CDU got most of the votes as per usual. AfD got 14%, which is a lot, but not enough to topple the establishment.
Merkel’s CDU lost some compared to the last election, but it wasn’t an apocalypse. The worst news is the increased share for “die Linke,” the zombie husk of the East German Communist party. You’d think Berliners of all people would be averse to those monsters coming back.

  3. Oops..bad phrasing. Since the SPD and CDU together didn’t get a majority, “most” should read “the largest shares.”

  4. Sadly … it is going to take an overwhelming amount of immigrant atrocities to alter the leftist, globalist, green, majority (aka moderate centrists) in Germany. I don’t believe they’ve even come close to waking-up to the nightmare created by their misplaced “compassion”. Nope … so long as there are 30 days or more between rapes, mass murders, bombings, and what not … Germans will remain indifferent to the problem they have created. And when the electorate DOES wake up … it will be too late.

  5. The Social Democratic Party has picked up 21.5 percent of the vote in Berlin’s state election. The far-right Alternative for Germany party has won 14.1 percent of the vote and enters its 10th regional assembly.

Notice the header. Any party to the right of the various shades of socialist, including the CDU is called far-right. If Canada is gulled into a proportional system of federal voting we will have a coalition of leftist parties for ever and the Conservative Party will called far-right.

  6. Despite the anger in Europe it is expected that a coalition of left wing parties will still win. This is exactly the type of scenario our ‘dear leader’ hopes to achieve with his promise of election reform with the result that the supposed main stream liberal party goes ever more left to satisfy the splinter groups also being elected. I fear for the future of Canada.

  7. In Canada the Conservative Party is already “far right”. The social engineering has been going on for that long and is still invisible to those upon whom it has worked.
