And our Dear Leader has of course changed the name “Foreign Affairs” to the pompous and posturing term “Global Affairs”.
I don’t have a problem with this. I think it is only fair that the citizens of Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa and every other city that voted “Liberal” should reap the full benefits of what they voted for.

These are the folks I don’t object to. They’ve demonstrated that they have a work ethic and they play by the rules. Not only that, they’re doing it to support their families back home – so they have a sense of responsibility and obviously want to get ahead. And, they’re doing the jobs that our own people won’t do.
But turdo la doo is prepared to let in the trash, along with these hard-working folks – with predictable results.

While some might see the name change (Foreign Affairs to Global Affairs), I see it as signaling a change in focus from Canadian interests to global interests. This would be in keeping with Trudeau’s pronouncement that we are the “First post-national state.” There is also a deliberate attempt to water-down Canada’s traditional identity, at least on the Anglophone side. Anglophone identity has been obscured by “multiculturalism”. Some people applaud our multicultural make-up, but if it comes at the expense of our traditional values and history, we have lost a great deal. I believe it is not even required anymore for people to know either French or English to become citizens — and of course, if you choose to obscure your face with the niqab in a citizenship ceremony or commit an act of terrorism, participate in honour killings, etc. you are still more than welcome in this our big — stands-for-nothing — tent. Worst of all, some deluded leftists think all of this is a good thing. At least the Francophones will not give up their identity quite so easily. Who could have predicted a few years ago that the long-standing grievances between Quebec and the rest of Canada would result in even some Anglophones cheering for the retention of Francophone cultural identity, now that the Anglophones have clearly relinquished their own.

Likely the very worst government policy enshrined in Canada ever is one of “multiculturalism”.
Canada was always muliticultural – everyone here came from somewhere else, or their ancestors did.
However they came here and became something new. They became Canadian.
PET changed all that, and I believe for 2 key purposes
1. to destroy Canadas culture and national identity
2. to create special interest groups that could be used to divide and conquer the electorate.
Multiculturalism (and its not just culture that falls under this banner, but sexual and religious leanings as well) pits Canadian citizens against one another.
We are no longer a unified nation with an eye to national interests. We are now a nation of special interests, some of whom are rewarded significant political power in return for their support. That support and political power are then used as blunt instruments to attack Liberal/Progressive opponents. LGBTQ is the latest favored group. Muslims too.
Now there is no requirement to assimilate into the host society – and soon there will be no host society – just balkanized special interest groups looking to secure political favors and handouts.
The only reason that other cultures in fact have such rich vibrant cultures, is that none of them established multiculti in their own nations.
All so the Lib/progressives could maintain power – to hell with the country that was Canada
