In this case, it does look more like workplace violence to me than a religious related attack. Not every violent incident by someone from the Middle East is about jihad. What we can say is that integrating into society can be a challenge for some people from foreign cultures. The fact that the family did not communicate with neighbors in 11 years is significant.

For me the most significant fact was that he had a recent liver transplant. The liver is a very important organ in the human body. It controls the elimination of waste products from the blood. Something doesn’t add up here. If you look at the picture of the home, that is a pretty nice home for a couple that works at Walmart. The progressives have me convinced that Walmart pays slave wages that people can’t live on, so how did they afford that?
And as has been repeated in several stories, they have lived there for 8 years, how is it that he purchased the home in November 2004? It is stated that they have been in the U.S for 12 years, which means the house was bought around the time he arrived in the U.S. Something is not right about this story. I suspect it is just shoddy reporting, but…?

For instance Mr.Orlando Gay Club was a mere security guard,yet could afford to take TWO holidays to Mecca within a couple of years,one a ten day vacation,the other an 8 day vacation..Just the airfare alone would be beyond the reach of most working poor people,and while I’m not familiar with U.S. pay scales, in Canada a security Guard makes just above minimum wage,in the $12/hour range.
And a few years back, we had the curious case of the Montreal taxi driver who was refused return to Canada, and the media made a big deal of it until the government of Stephen Harper relented and let the guy back in,BUT his travel itinerary was staggeringly expensive,having visited about half a dozen wide spread Countries such as Libya and Afghanistan over a period of about two years.
He was suspected of being a courier for Al-Qaeda,and was know to have met with known members of terrorist organizations overseas, but they had no Court worthy proof,so he was eventually allowed to return.
BUT, not ONE Reporter in our beloved and highly professional media asked the musical question;”how,as a mere taxi driver (NOT owner, driver)could you afford to flit about the world like a millionaire playboy?”
I suppose that in the media’s cozy little world,all travel is at their company’s expense,so the idea that ordinary folks cannot afford to travel extensively never occurs to them.
And THAT is a very important fact that no one seems to want to investigate, if these guys don’t make enough money to afford expensive overseas air travel,who in hell DOES pay for it?
So, back to the comment by Tim, how does a recent arrival with a Walmart job afford better than a very modest dwelling,to rent,not buy? The best Walmart employees here can afford,(and I’m not including the Seniors who have returned to make a few bucks to augment meager pensions),is a room in a shared condo or small house.

So what society is that these days?
Couldn’t join the Hells Angels, or Manhattan high society, possibly he missed out on a gay street parade or didn’t fit in with the Hollywood elites the last time they stopped in town.
Point is, if they can’t fit into some sort of society in todays western cultures they shouldn’t have been allowed in the first place. Indeed, wholesale Islamic Third World immigration is not compatible with 99% of western values, whichever society they land in.

Quite right.
