  1. I live in SW Saskatchewan, about 30 miles from where the Snowbirds practice their maneuvers over what was once a WWII RAF Air Gunnery base near Mossbank, Sk. They fly out of 15 wing Moose Jaw. The 431 Air Demonstration Squadron still fly the ageing CT-114 Tudors, a circa 1960’s aircraft that can still give you goosebumps when you watch them in formation, high above the rolling hills of prairie on a clear June morning. Especially when they emit multi-coloured contrails.
A joke was made at coffee this morning. An old Conservative cowboy asked a younger Liberal follower of Justin Trudeau (they are few and far apart in this region) if the aeronautical engineers at RCAF have been able to dye the fuel so the ”anus” of the Tudors will emit the colours of the rainbow flag while flying over gay parades in Ottawa this summer.
What brought this on was the news story of the Cdn Govt’s proposed purchase of the new Boeing F-18 ‘Super Hornets” in lieu of the Lockheed martin F-35 Lightning II that has now fallen into the same category as the Bricklin and the DeLorean. Keeping in mind that the original proposal to purchase the F-35 was brought forth by the Liberals and PM Jean Chretien in 1997. Yet when PM Harper was elected in 2006, the Liberals had done nothing to secure the deal. By 2010, the deal was in shambles, not only in Canada, but in other countries as well. It appears that Lockheed Martin have simply failed to comply to their customer’s needs. Hopefully the F-18 Super Hornets will keep our nation ”strong and free.”

  2. Well, that was disappointing. An hour and fifteen minutes into that documentary, it suddenly switched to a program about the C-17. They didn’t even get to the stuff that happened on Juno beach nor anything the Canadians were actually doing.
As an alternative to the Hornet, how about a Super Arrow?

  3. So, we have heard it all now, well maybe not, the Liberal Cabal’s front Man playing the role of PM , one Justin of Trudeau say changing how we vote is just too complex an issue to put to a referendum! If that isn’t supreme arrogance nothing is,it’s also telling us all we are not smart enough to figure it out….well guess that’s been proven, his Liberals got voted to a majority government!
We need to take this issue to the streets, demand out opposition parties fight this move, even take it to the GG.

  4. Did anyone even watch this video? I did, and found it most interesting – except that at the 75 minute mark, the video changes to “Mighty Planes” or some such schlock.
Too bad, but it seems that its more important to post anything – rather than something that is complete.

  5. As a matter of fact I did watch it. Imagine being the only member of a landing party to survive. It was getting very interesting until the content ended at the 1 hr. 9 min. mark.

“Europe Is Falling Out Of Love With Renewables”
“Climate and Energy Minister Lars Christian Lilleholt will cancel all coastal wind turbines which were agreed to be built in 2012 and promises to replace them with a new offshore wind farm in 2025. “When I think back on the energy agreement from 2012, it was a mistake that agreed to build the coastal wind turbines,” he said.”

  7. I did think Ambrose’s jokes were pretty much cheap shots at Harper to an audience she knew would be receptive. It was in bad taste. I think many other Conservatives were offended by this as well — particularly since some in the media seem keen to gloat over her “jokes”.

“Trudeau’s office insisted the two nannies didn’t increase the budget for the prime minister’s residence, and supporters pointed to a similar arrangement when Brian Mulroney was prime minister with a young brood.
The Trudeaus even poked fun at the affair during the annual parliamentary press gallery dinner on the weekend.”

As this is Ramadan,in the spirit of welcoming and Canadian multiculturalism, I have sent two large Costco pepperoni pizzas to the folks at the local mosque just up the street from me.
I hope others here are as filled with the spirit as I am. Tonight I’m setting fire to my neighbour’s dodge diesel pickup.
    Allahu akhbar.
btw, why do they keep saying “fasting” when the term is “fastening”, as in “I’m fastening the latch on the door to the mosque”?
    Hm.

  11. I predict that the Canadian media will try to bury this information:
    ————–
Donald Trump got in a lot of trouble for criticizing the Mexican heritage of the judge that is presiding over the Trump University case.
It obviously wasn’t his best moment but the media is overlooking the connection between this judge and La Raza which is a radical leftist group that basically doesn’t believe in borders and violently attacks anyone that disagrees with them.
That is a huge factor in determining whether or not this judge can be fair in the case.

  12. Agreed 100% that the last part of the video was most likely recorded over on a DVD or VCR. And I do believe that the Canadians went the furthest into France on the D-Day after Juno Beach. And given the fact that the Germans were on their last leg, and outnumbered many times over, they put up one hell of a fight.
