What does the president also mean by the “right” and “wrong” side of history, other than equating his side with “right” and thus historically, morally, and logically inevitable? But history has no such predetermined Hegelian course. Roman republicanism and classical culture were certainly on the right side of history for centuries–until life in AD 500 insidiously became far more dangerous, brutish, and materially impoverished. Beheading was supposed to be the signature of past savages, not the highlight of twenty-first-century video ads for ISIS recruitment.
Did Europe come to the “end” of its history with the European Union or is the confederation’s unworkability leading to a return of centuries of national rivalries? In the 1990s, various manifestations of the so-called Schengen Agreement establishing a borderless free passage zone between sovereign European nations was declared a harbinger–later along with the Euro–of an inevitable pan-European borderless community. That one-world arc was also the dream of Roman Emperors, Napoleon, and the drafters of the League of Nations. But by 2016, Schengen, when coupled with Europe’s inability to control its borders on the Mediterranean, had proved a disaster. Was the German mark or Greek drachma relegated to the wrong side of history; or will both reemerge soon from its right side?

With fear of sounding too “scatological” … Obama’s legacy will be having pissed and shat upon America in a UN-iversal, borderless, toilet stall. His (nearly) last SIGNATURE legislation (I thought that was the exclusive purview of Congress) … will be a rather graphic school mandate … which is the physical expression of his entire presidency.
Obama has done to America what has always been in his heart … he’s shit on us. No borders, no budget restraint, no economic growth, no more affordable healthcare, no more military, no more constraint of Izlam, no more trade restrictions, nothing. Obama grew up HATING America … even as it bestowed the greatest benefits and ultimate job imaginable. He has always fought an imaginary “racism” that “held him down”. He never accepted or acknowledged all the “privilege” granted him … BECAUSE … he was a half-black man. And his wife received the exact same benefits. These two are the most self-hating elitists in the history of America. They continue to fight against a foe that never existed … a foe that has given them EVERYTHING. So, in their classic liberal guilt, they crap on the hand that feeds them.
It will take a generation of more to clean up the trans-formative bathroom stall they’ve made of our country. Clorox will need to work 24/7 producing the bleach necessary to remove the stain.

At the time of Galileo, the Church decreed settled science. In the Stalinist Soviet Union, Lysenkoism was considered settled Communist Science. Now today, Global Warming/Climate Change is considered by some, not all scientist to be settled science. Each of these times, those who question and in many cases disagree have been treated as pariahs with the Church, politicians and their minions demanding that those who deny man made climate change be punished!
