For those on Twitter, unlike myself, you could point out to those defending Sophie Trudeau trying to turn herself into a “First Lady” and demanding a (larger!) staff etc., that when Mila Mulroney tried doing something similar (including wanting military and R.C.M.P. to salute her like American military and U.S.M.C. did for Nancy Reagan) that she was rightly mocked for it and dropped the idea. So are they admitting that Mila was right all those years ago?

  3. Now that humper Mr Ghomeshi is free of all charges,no criminal record. where will he find employment? Will he be back at CBC? I don’t know about most gals but if he tried humping me I’d wheel around and slap him with open palms on both cheeks and a knee to the gonads so fast he wouldn’t know what hit him.

  4. After the Spokesmen made that reply to the ‘Everything is Sh_t Song’ you rarely heard from them.
    It’s almost like they were…gasp…Blacklisted.

  5. Does anyone have insight into why the Government of Canada (and I think Alberta) are only matching donations given through the Red Cross? I believe the previous Harper government would accommodate more than one charity for matching donations, which seems more fair to me. I prefer the Salvation Army which is doing work in Fort Mac as well — as are a number of other organizations. Why are these groups not similarly supported?

  6. There have been several train derailments in northern New Brunswick in the past two years. Coincidence?
“The train derailment that occurred in Sisson Ridge, in northwestern New Brunswick, earlier this week was caused by a “deliberate act,” say RCMP.
An investigation into the May 9 incident near Plaster Rock is ongoing, in collaboration with CN Police, RCMP Const. Jullie Rogers-Marsh said in a statement on Wedneday.”

  7. I really think we all need to step back and cut the mediocracy some slack, how could they have seen this coming, especially after they were told them exactly that was going to happen. What are they, soothsayers? (Obvious sarcasm alert)
“McCallum defends Syrian refugee plan as sponsors wait for staffing boost.”
The Trudeau government slowed the processing of applications for privately sponsored Syrian refugees after it reached its own target of resettling 25,000 Syrians (a mix of government-assisted refugees and privately sponsored ones) by the end of February.”
Private sponsorship groups have been told it will be several months before more Syrian refugee families arrive in Canada, and some will even have to wait until 2017… There are approximately 9,000 groups that have raised the funds required to sponsor a Syrian refugee family but who are still waiting for their arrival.”
Maybe a pass for the bureaucracy is warranted. McCallum and Trudeau had them hard at work scouring ME hotels for “refugees.” We need more people totally dependent on the state coming in, despite being able to afford hotels, than those cheaters who went through the process and have sponsors, not the state paying the bill. That’s what Liberals, I mean Canadians want is it?
