  1. The scraggly Muzzie beard is a non-starter for me. If he came looking for employment from me, he would be found “lacking in some significant area of qualification”. He would never hear back. Why is it so hard to do SURVIVAL-profiling at the GawwwwdDammmmm freaking AIRPORT !!!! … but I have to take my shoes off ?????
We have put the IDGIOT chimps in charge of our society.

  2. Already gone from National Post online. Nothing further on Ottawa “Asians” throwing a woman through a plate window and kicking her unconscious last October or Muslims shooting into. A bar in Calgary.

  3. Why it’s just like the good old Soviet Union! Remember Trudeau senior… “We can learn a lot from the Soviet Union”… like putting people with certain political beliefs in mental hospitals.

  4. Mental illness is an easy claim to exploit for this guy’s Toronto lawyer, rather than look at another less pc cause.
He attended mosque three times a week,so who was the radical Imam who inspired him to go all jihadi?

  5. The link is to the CBC but it looks like it was TheRebel.Media that has all the leads in the story. No credit to Ezra’s merry band from the national broadcaster though.

  6. .
Ya .. sure … he’s the victim … Probably will be invited to have lunch with Justin before it’s over.
    ..

  7. Well that McDonalds golden arches mustache he’s sporting is as mental as all get out…

  8. If attending mosque several times a week what inspired him to go off to kill people? Would this “religion of peace” not be teaching against this?
Lawyers have no shame, no conscience to go into contortions to defend terrorists. They all have a story. I don’t give a damn if he’s all shook up about what he’s done. The legals will work to rule him to be mentally disturbed, if that’s the case maybe we need to investigate the cause and start eliminating it. The Trudeau Charter clause “Freedom of Religion” should not mean religions cannot be investigated as to what is being taught when our safety and security are at stake.
I’m tired of people saying it’s not about Islam when all terrorists are fighting in it’s name, radical or whatever. Good Muslims everywhere need to step up and fight this as well, if not, what are we to believe?

  9. From the article: “Little is known about Ali’s past, but those who knew him described him as a nice guy who kept to himself.” Hopefully he will be quiet and keep to himself for the rest of his life in prison. Probably won’t happen though. He’s a likely candidate for rehabilitation and early release

  10. Love the Calgary connection.
    And had airport security pass.
    Oh joy.
So he progresses from airport secure properties, to Calgary Uni to Jihad.
But of course the Iman at the Calgary and Toronto mosques are moderates, according to CBC.
In fact I am sure by Friday, he will never have been a moslem.

  11. “mental health deteriorated and they became increasingly isolated”
Ignore the quote marks. Just how many real Canadians, suffering from the same thing, walk into a Canadian Forces recruiting office and stab Canadian soldiers with the intent to kill them?
Bin Laden’s health also deteriorated, and he was also getting increasingly isolated.

  12. again, the gentleman sports the excessive and scruffy beard.
is that mandated in the kornran also?

  13. Gee. I posted the same comment that I posted here at 7:22 PM in the comments to the CBC story about 1 minute earlier. Now it has disappeared from the CBC site.
“Going to have to build a mosque in Penatanguishene.”
For those who aren’t “in the know”, Penatanguishene is Ontario’s major long-term facility for the criminally insane.

  14. Whenever I go thru the Calgary airport I feel like I’m on the wrong side of the machine compared to the Seeley wearer operating it

  15. Yes, it’s caused by micro isolation. He was very lucky he wasn’t in a combat situation. Then again, if he was, luck would have had nothing to do with it.

  16. Liz, you’re correct. If one more person of high profile says “this does not represent Islam” or “these people are not Islamic”, I’m going to go postal.
What do these people think ISIS or ISIL stands for? The jihadists sure as hell claim to be doing their disgusting deeds for Allah. That sums up their status as Muslims to me.

  17. Can’t believe the CBC is allowing comments on the story. I thought they had done away with that months ago.
They’ll probably declare him NCR, put him away for a year or two and then release him under a new name like they did with Vince Li, the Greyhound head-hacker.

  18. “…his mental health deteriorated and he became increasingly isolated”. Translation; “he became increasingly funda”mentally” committed to Islam and Islamism”. Only thing he missed was getting to meet the promised virgins. Confident that arming our military personnel would have made that come true for him.

  19. The new definition for insane is a terrorist, or is it a synonym or a euphemism.
What’s even more insane, is that Liberals don’t seem to care, terrorists are now victims
    of mental health.

  20. “… his mental health deteriorated and he became increasingly isolated”
    ———
Well, from my (admittedly limited) knowledge of islam, it seems apparent to me that to be a muslim is to be mentally ill.

  21. When he said he was told to go and kill it may well have been true that he heard those words.
Muslims fear the Jin(genies) and describe them as in- between fire and smoke. When the disciple goes deep into the teachings of Islam it is said that the Jin make themselves known and start to do the bidding of the prayers of the believer. The disciples build a dependence on the Jin but then comes the time when they start calling the shots and demand obedience or death.
This is what we Christians call demonic possession or oppression. This is nothing new, just new to us here in the West. That is if you believe such monstrous things can happen. And those who say that it is just mental instability. Why is it that this type of “instability” seems to always affect both men and women, no respector of socioeconomic barriers and end in shouts of Allah Akbar and murder? Go ahead and explain it otherwise.

  22. Maybe membership in the cult of the desert pedophile is proof of mental illness?
Sort of like proudly styling oneself a progressive, like social rust.
No wonder the Liberals are embracing the Muslims, they recognize their mutual insanity.

  23. Ali looks like a vilain from an 1940’s ”film noir” movie. A 240 volt outlet and booster cables would soon reveal the truth!

  24. It may be time to recognize Islamism as a cause of mental illness. It certainly seems rampant among those who adhere to it if we are to believe those who defend their evil acts of terror using it as an excuse.

  25. Funny, how there seems to be an epidemic of Muslims, around the world, whose mental illness always manifests itself in the same manner,as Islamic Jihad.

  26. I heard more on the news about this so-called Islamophobia (which never seems to materialize. Ever.) than I did about the attack.

  27. If they would recognize “blind faith” as a mental illness maybe we could solve the vast majority of the world’s ails.
Islamists, SJW’s and Warmists should be the first ones deprogrammed and forced to face reality.

  28. Our country is in the hands of all comers to this country, the Trudeau Cabal running the government are mere enablers. With the legals as accomplices, our judiciary in general, what could possibly go wrong……for them?

  29. Forget about “mental health” or even “lone wolfism” – this should be investigated as an atrocious act of war.

  30. Sounds like he is the son of Somali refugees. Let’s see what happens when the sons of the Syrian refugees grow up.
