Psalms were written in Hebrew, Matthew was written in *New Testament Greek.(Koine Greek)
It is inevitable that they don’t translate exactly as written, being written in two different languages from different cultures in different eras (Psalms 91 was about 1000years old give or take at the time of Christ), but when they were spoken they would have both been spoken in Hebrew(the language Christ and his disciples spoke) and would have been exactly the same when spoken.
In addition to Psalms and Mathew being written in different languages, your Catholic Bible was likely a translation of the manuscripts from those two languages to Latin and then again translated to English.
I have an interlinear Bible written in the original languages(Hebrew, Assyrian, Koine Greek) and even the syntax of each language is very different.

Is that so? I guess you didn’t know that the Hebrew language written in the Old Testament has no past or future tenses and the language is expressed in the ‘eternal now’ which translates to Greek as ‘at any time’.
So, NO, not only is it not ‘kind of obvious’, it’s an assumption you make because of your not understanding the language/cultural differences.
