Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Everyone already knows what they are doing. This is old technology. What is new is that it is not Democrats doing it.
They’re all using this tactic, it’s just that Cruz is good at it.
For those who think this a little scary, it is just the same old electoral techniques assisted by automation.
Yes Kate, it’s a bit premature to bragging about your campaign strategy when you’ve only won 1 state with 49 to go. Like Prager says, there are 2 parties. The Stupid Party, and the Dangerous Party.
The Romney campaign did have a similar though not as well developed system as Obama but The entire system crashed on Election Day for about six to eight hours.
Some of cruz’ people worked with this system and have made it far better than four years ago and apparently now it is much better than what Hillary is using.
In the OCtober election in Canada the Libs used the Obama system. They bought the core for $1 and then modified. Enabled them to target individuals, used effectively in Condo’s.
Not just to convince for support but to get the turnout.
Most telling statement on the Romney campaign was they built something that didn’t get integrated into the campaign process, it sat outside…as well as crash on election day….
But a little surprised they are showing off so early from Cruz campaign. End of the day, once technological field is levelled again it comes back to policy, candidate and communication.
Cruz is just trying to contrast his campaign abilities with those of the liberal loser who finally admitted that he should develop a ground game.
Cruz is the best of an imperfect bunch.
Carson is very intelligent but he does not have enough of the junkyard dog in him to be in politics.
Trump is all junkyard dog but not enough policy and intelligence.
Rubio has taken a principled stand on every side of every important issue.
On the other side of the aisle we have a lying thief weasel and a proto communist.
I think what he is trying to show is that he can win (to convince those that saying he is too conservative to win, that he can do it through turnout). And in doing so attract more voters who would traditionally not vote for him, because they do not think he could win in the General.
Oh, who cares? So he pulled a little dirty trick, so what? It shows initiative.
Stop whining.
It is not a dirty trick, you did not wath it.
Roger Stone, who supports Trump, has been digging into the background of Ted and Heidi Cruz.

Ridiculous guilt by association column.
I was born and raised in Nfld. And received EI once. Does that make be a liberal?
Watch or read some cruzs speeches and policy positions to know where he stands.
I’ve watched Cruz expound plenty of times, and we have his book, ‘Ted Cruz.’ He sounded very oily on the audio tape. I used to like him, until he revealed his duplicitous side. He’s contrived. And he failed to show up to vote on an audit of the Federal Reserve.
