  1. Re: Video. I’ll go with the Border Collie when it comes to brains, and the Golden Retriever for looks, especially in the puppy stage. Smartest dog I ever saw was an American Rat Terrier. I don’t know if they all share the same level of intelligence as the one I had, however is was scary smart!

“I tried to shoot up a church one day. I don’t know the name of it, but it’s close to my job. It’s one of the biggest ones in Detroit. Ya, I had it planned out. I bought a bunch of bullets. I practice a lot with it. I practice reloading and unloading. But my dad searched my car one day and he found everything. He found the gun and the bullets and a mask.” Why a church? “It’s easy and a lot of people go there. Plus people are not allowed to carry guns in church. Plus, it would make the news. Everyone would’ve heard. Honestly, I regret not doing it. If I can’t do jihad in the Middle East, I would do my jihad over here.’”

  3. Neo is all over the latest on the Ghomeshi story like a duck on a beetle….so today, yet another twinkie reveals in court the same sort of stuff the other two have…namely contact after the fact.
    Some mothers do ‘ave em.
I wonder if anyone is looking into possible charges against these fools related to misleading police.

  4. The science is settled. For the past few years environmentalists, and especially Suzuki in Canada have insisted that neonicotinoid pesticides must be banned because they are responsible for declining bee populations. I don’t expect they will apologize.
european honeybee virus Responsible for Threat to Global Bee Population
The source of a disturbing virus that is continuing to spread among the world’s honeybee population and decimate their numbers has been traced to the European Apis mellifera honeybee.
The infection, known as Deformed Wing Virus (DWV), is carried by the Varroa Destructor mite, a parasite that preys upon adult honeybees and their larvae. When DWV attacks a developing bee, it shrinks the pupa, which then causes a malformation of the bee’s wings. This disease has been transmitted by Europe’s honeybees to bee populations in North American, Australia, and New Zealand.
Millions of bees have already been destroyed by the virus in recent decades, and scientists have determined that the spread of the disease is caused by human trade and transport of honeybees for the purpose of crop pollination.

  5. On the topic of Trudeau pulling our jets out of Syria!
My comment that was as follows was deleted!
”As long as the free world has leaders like Trudeau, ISIS will flourish!!”
Yet some Liberals still believe that the CBC is or was not ”biased.”

  6. “Included in the Department of National Defence budgets are hundreds of thousands of dollars set aside for “religious support,” including the purchase of Muslim Korans, prayer mats and foot-washing towels.
The plans also call for the construction of mosques or “worship centres,” using taxpayers dollars.
The planning documents, in English and French, were released in response to a Rebel “Access to Information” request about religious expenditures by the Department of National Defence.
But the detailed Quebec budget plans also shed light on the sheer scale of the Trudeau government’s plans to set up refugee camp-style accommodations on seven Canadian Forces Bases across Quebec and Ontario.
The budget for Quebec alone totals more than $46 million for the first six months.
For a typical migrant family, that’s a $200,000/year subsidy — not including medicare or welfare.

  7. Funny how when I post things here, they get posted and when I post the identical things on CBC, they get “moderated” till no one is reading the story any more. Just saying……

  10. I was BANNED FOR LIFE from commenting on The Daily Mail … because I made a JOKE about Abby Wambach jumping into the stands to give her wife a celebratory kiss when the US women won the Women’s World Cup.
In today’s FREE (moderated) internet SPEECH … you simply cannot disparage the Gay lifestyle … no matter how lighthearted and innocuous.
Some speech is MORE free than others. oink oink.

  11. @anslem… fixed that for you!
Included in the Department of National Dhimmis budgets are hundreds of thousands of dollars set aside for “religious support,” including the purchase of Muslim Korans, prayer mats and foot-washing towels.

“rich says… Neo is all over the latest on the Ghomeshi story like a duck on a beetle”
thx, rich… but while i reported on testimony, that’s not a personal condemnation of the
    women involved.
there’s no doubt these women made some bad decisions post ghomeshi attack, but
do i believe them about being choked & assaulted? absolutely.
ghomeshi has a 30 year history of this sort of thing… go to bottom of post for link to
    magazine article…
“Anger percolated over the seeming disconnect between the allegations and
Ghomeshi’s public persona as an enlightened, sensitive progressive who
    called Jack Layton his “mentor.”

yup… apparently, little jian was padawan to masssage parlour sith lord “shiatsu jack.”

  13. Kenji, remember the famous line, especially in this ugly PC world:
The beatings will continue until morale improves!

  14. Cascadia: Re: CBC comments.
Many people have fought with CBC for years on this topic. I know that all of my comments are placed on hold until the ”site administrators” check them out. (As they do with yours.) I can accept that. They do eventually get posted.
I can’t recall all of the comments I’ve made that have been deleted. There were hundreds. I swear that none were derogatory, all were however pro-Conservative, pro Republican or pro-right.
For example, very shortly after the last federal election, and on the topic of allowing Syrian refugees into canada, I wrote: ”I’m starting to miss Harper already.” That was deleted.
Just before the last election I wrote, ”I’m voting Conservative because I love Canada.”
    That was deleted.
In the last weeks following the Oct. 19-15 federal election, any comment that was pro-Harper
    was deleted.
I was quite shocked at having this last comment deleted. ””As long as the free world has leaders like Trudeau, ISIS will flourish!!” (Deleted today–Oct. 08-16)
What I wrote was (is) my opinion, nothing else. Thus CBC is directly going after my right as a Canadian to form an opinion on a political matter. Yet I (we) pay to keep them on the air.
