Not surprised. Not the first time something like this has happened if I recall. Someone needs to keep a ledger of these sorts of things.

That’ll never happen. Just from the news reports that are released, I suspect the rate is over 80%.

It’s the inevitable anti-muslim backlash that they warned about. I have to wonder, was this his idea alone or did the instructions come from CAIR?

I knew it would be an inside job, but would have preferred that it wasn’t because it just re-enforces what liars they are. And I don’t believe no one else knew it would happen.

I have been telling my friends a long time that in order to keep “Muslim criminals/extremists” out of your place what to do: The best thing to do is hang a piece of bacon over the door handle, and fried bacon on windowsill. It is not hate crime, it is a very secure alarm system. I even told them to carry a piece of bacon – or ham – along with them while observing a Muslim protest, in case they approach you.
(I think for crowd control at boarders and riots/protests is to have trained pigs walking beside the police. This would have stopped several riots in Europe if they were let into the crowds to disperse the rioters. To keep them totally away, fill a tanker with pig blood … from local slaughter houses – and spray the rioters … and let them know what type of blood it is.
I think it would also have helped if the Christians that were attacked by Muslims in Calgary last summer – watching from the side lines – had bacon displayed on their signs, they would have been left alone. The police were too afraid to have a noticeable presence, if any.)

Exactly. Every time they showed it on the news, there was a “revert” with a scrawny red beard (of course), and all I could think about was: how dumb (or politically incorrect) are the Peterborough cops?

Given the existance of Islamist “sleeper” cells all over the place, did somebody finally wake up and try the same strategy against them?

It was a well-known fact by the Canadian Peacekeepers in Bosnia that the Muslims would shoot their own people at their market in order to garner sympathetic media attention. Funny, that CBC never reported that little factoid.

If you could tell me how many Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists et al burned down their respective houses of worship and blamed others for it, that would be great.

I was curious and invested a few moments to investigate your assertion, not knowing what to expect, the world being the place it is.
The closest I could find was the many racist church burnings in the US over the decades, at least some of which were done by white Christians. But then that’s not quite the same as burning your own house of worship to the ground.
As per any better examples, I wasn’t willing to invest the hour upon hour required to sort through the endless accounts of Muslims burning churches to find one.

There is only one group I know of that excels in both self-pitying and destruction.
