I read an interesting article recently, it described some tough arabs running a convenience store in a “food desert”, some American inner city hell hole, they had bullet proof glass for the cashier, the workers all open carried handguns, they had a shooting range in the basement that also doubled as a holding pen for thieves cuffed and waiting to be picked up by the paddy wagon, all in all it sounded like a beautiful story of cultural integration, these particular muslim immigrants found a niche and were chasing the American dream.
