A guy like the empty hair could easily fool the people with junk science and achieve his main goal in four or five years. A guy could bring a lot of muslims into Cananda in that time.     This is perhaps the most dangerous bait and switch with regard to the security of Canada ever pulled off, but the technique was perfected by Justine’s father, Canada’s Greatest Commie, Pierre himself.
    Remember the reversal played on the inept PC Leader Joke Lark, when Trudeau the First won the election on the issue of “NO Gasoline Tax”? Then the Commie implemented the same thing only more than double what the PCs said, once he was in power.
    The problem I have is that some conservative voters are saying that they are pleased that the Kid is lengthening the process. Rather, they should be calling him out on his broken promise and his deceit and betrayal of the Canadian voter as you wisely pointed out.

  8. Actually Ken there is a greater hypocrite – its the media enablers of the left. And that includes Mr Lorrie Goldstein whose soft pimping of AGW (pretending to be mild criticism)simply added to the national media voice against Harper.
    Justine Trudeau, nor Kathleen Wynne nor any other lefty politician would get within 100 feet of office if the national media was as biased to the right as it was to the left (and note rightward bias is in the direction of reality and natural law)
    So Lorries little bit of Kabuki journalism here (and I would also include the likes of any other soft conservatives in the media) is nothing more than more pablum for the masses.
    Where the h*ll was Lorrie, Gunter et al when the Canadian Media Guild registered to defeat Harper? The only guy that tried to bring that to the attention of the public was Ezra, who along with the rest of the rebel crew are the only journalists engaging in journalism in this country.
    Note that the very first order of business of the new governemnt is Climate Climate Climate, otherwise known as the selling out of our national sovereignty. We have spilled much blood and treasure protecting this over the last 100 years and now it is going to be signed away with the stroke of a pen willingly.
    I get that the CBC, CTV, Global et all crew are in the tank for supporting Libs and selling out Canada, and they are likely to be richly rewarded for their dedicated service, treasonous bast*ards all.
    But the “journalists” who really disgust me are the ones who play token right winger in the media to promote the pretense that there is some “balance” in the Canadian media.
    Lorries “clever” tweet is highlighting nothing that every SDA reader has not figured out a decade ago, and as I said at the beginning, he and other token conservatives in Canadas media swallowed their pens when it counted most for this country.
    The true measure for conservative journalism in this country is the journalist who calls out the frauds and liars within this discredited profession. Lorrie is not one of those.

  9. Well stated ward but remember that the constant piling of crap onto Harper had a greater purpose. It wasn’t just to shill for the Liberals but to mute and marginalize any positive statement of support for Harper. Did you notice the comment boards for NP or G&M? Any positive comment for Mr. Harper caused immediate response. The campaign was organized and unrelenting.
    Full marks for Ezra. He was one of the only journalists who brought a few facts into the discussion. By the time NP and G&M offered their endorsement of Mr. Harper the damage had been done; it was too late.

  14. really Ward, you sound like one of those “of the stupid party” from the land south of us. There should NO liberal OR conservative press. There should apolitical press, period. Lorrie takes a stand in the middle of the climate issue because he is not fully conversant on the issue, nor am I or you. For that matter the issue of climate is that complex that I doubt that many, if any, actual climate scientists are fully up to speed on it. Lorrie does the right thing when addressing the issue, and doesn’t sound off like you are.

  15. Why the military involvement including employing reservists when Middle Easterners don’t trust military? In an average week 4,000 immigrants come to Canada. The extra Syrians will only be an extra 2,000 per week. Let’s say that is 500 families per week in a country of 35 million. Why is this a problem?

  17. It was not Harper’s job to cater to the media. They ridiculed him from the get-go. Remember the nonsense about the handshake? That set the tone. Harper had no time for gotcha journalism. You can flatter the media reserved and get them cheering for you, but no one us only ged to do so. The press should do an honest job, rather than attempting to impose their spin. I am disgusted. Since the election I have given up media — and I used to be a big consumer. I will be happy to see them going out of business.

The programs used to Model climate are modified statistical programs, and guess what bright boy, they are linear and highly redundant, like all computer programs. There fore you can’t insert feed back loops, and there in lies the fact that the climate can’t be accurately modeled. I’v watched this BS from a mythological POV for years, and the methodology doesn’t stand up, period. As to the climate it’s self, you don’t, I don’t, and the scientists don’t fully understand it. And Lorrie does not, nor does he pretend to, and in such a case you take a middle of the road stance. Is that to complicated for you, or are you just trying to become one of the blow-hards in here.
    I also know that all this horse shit about climate change is political, so does Lorrie, and he’s said so on several occasions. He denounced the analysis, the conclusions, and the politics, and that is how a reporter should present it. That is an unbiased position!
    The rest of your garbage you are preaching to the choir, and has nothing to do with Lorries reportage, which is what I was/am addressing. So get your head out of your a$$hole

  20. Harper sat on his azz & so did quite a few of his CPC pals. AGW? Hoax. Even Putin calls it what it is. What, Harper was afraid that people who would never vote for him ever might slag him over that POV? The likes of Tim Ball (interviewed on Ezra’s show tonight) were never employed. Ditto the work of Vivian Krause in detailing the money flows & money laundering from US Foundations into Canada, Canadian “charities” & political movements to get complicit politicians elected like Gregor Robertson, Mr Moonbeam Mayor of Vancouver comes to mind. The US, via these Foundations, funding native groups, anarchist groups, and probably political Parties blatantly interfered in our electoral process and our economy and Harper et al could not open their mouths about it? Media third party advertisers…they should have boycotted the MSM and told them to their faces on national TV why. Bought media time to get that point across or go to The Rebel if you want to hear what we have to say, because the MSM is lying to you. They had nothing to lose, except the election which from where I sit appeared that they wanted to lose. Thanks CPC. They should be embarrassed to show their faces in public.
