You will be able to get the green light from your family doctor once general practitioners have been suitably trained.Apparently there are a thousand people on waiting lists right now.

  7. That has to be an error! Sex changes are complex operations! A general practitioner may run into problems!
    I don’t know why, but when I hear someone is having a gender transformation, I think of those adapters you buy when you go to Europe where they have 240 volt, 50 Hz power and the prongs are round instead of flat. You can plug in your 110v hair dryer without burning the element! Also brings to mind the ”Adapt-O-Kit” from JC Whitney in Chicago where we could fit a Chevrolet ”tranny” onto a Ford block!!

  14. We know by now the Wynne government of Ontario has an agenda, it’s all about the various forms of sexuality starting with the young school children, indoctrinating them early in the guise of sex education.
    There will be money to fix the genitalia of those whose equipment doesn’t fit their primal urges while people are dying waiting for procedures to end their pain. Add to that nurses are laid off and doctors are on quotas, the end result being they are leaving the province or retiring early.
    Ontario is going to see an exodus from more than the medical profession, industry is already rolling out and small business people will be forced to shut down due to her pension scheme, higher energy costs and taxes to the max.
    We may yet need a revolution, we’ll see how much influence Wynne will have over Justin of Trudeau.

  24. Didn’t say the family doctor would do the operation, just that he would give a green light for it. I have a lot of sympathy for people trapped between two sexes after having read Second Serve about a skilled eye surgeon and amateur tennis player who lead a life of desperation back in the days when homosexuality much less transgenderism were taboo and you had to go to Sweden to get an operation. But surely there are other things more of a priority with the cutbacks in the hospitals and waiting lists. Also I wonder about some parents pushing their kids before they are through their teens into these decisions.

  25. I read you–but I could could just see some old GP with his scalpel trying to make the parts fit right!! A bit like my brother who wasn’t a mechanic, and he’d be taking the drain plug off his Briggs and Stratton lawn mower engine with a 12” Crescent wrench!
