Alberta has been compromised since Ed the red was voted in & Alberta left its morality & any commonsense behind. The East now has an NDP looting brigade here now with its trans Canadian communists running things. While Ontario is presided by a pervert socialist. It now takes power over Canada again.

Watch for a sales tax in Alberta & another attempt at nationalizing the oil industry to keep Ontario in funds along with Quebec.

  3. Why does that “stun” you? The US voted for someone whose campaign slogans were “Yes we can,” “Hope and change”, and “We are the change we are looking for”. I’ve heard that average IQs in North America are now at the 2 digit mark. I believe it. The electorate has never been so easy to dupe.

    anyway, the good news is conservatives who are the vanguard for the uber wealthy’s drive to steal 98% of the wealth and resources of the world, have met with a nice little setback here in Canuckistan. talk about ‘niqab’ and ‘trade deals’ and ‘jobs’ is all a distraction, meant to garner votes based on hot button self interest issues.
    so even in Justin does economic damage, so what. the good news is his term(s) in office will postpone the day when we are once again a feudal society; peons, serfs, landless scrub farmers eking out subsistence lifestyle, living paycheque to paycheque whilst the 0.01 %ers figure a way to start another war with the ‘bad guys’ and pit the ignorant swirling masses against each other. a scenario FAR WORSE than anything the conservatist fear mongerers can conger.

    well, ellie… the fact that justin, an intellectual featherweight, was even on the ballot should have been a tip-off… but i had hoped that no rational person would be fooled by someone so obviously ignorant of actual issues.
    all the touchy-feely media nonsense seems to have superceded the need for actual experience & qualifications.
    millionaire socialist trudeau, at 43 years of age had one brief flirtation with the working world as a part time drama teacher and after dropping out of two grad school programs decided to capitalise on daddy’s name by running as an mp in quebec. (we all know from the ndp experience running placeholder, non-resident university students as candidates in the last election… you could elect an armadillo in la belle province.)
    so what do we have to look forward to? liberal deficits will kill our economy (remember trudeau pere took canada’s debt from 28 billion to 330 billion dollars), the liberal promise to blow out immigration family reunification regulations will strain our overburdened healthcare systems and i imagine a firearms ban is in the offing. his admiration for communist china and john lennon worldview will likely usher in political reconciliation with iran.
    the good news is dope will be legal… so i’m just gonna max out my government-supplied pot allotment and stay stoned for the forseeable future.

    2. The First Canadian Prime Minister Requiring Adult Supervision;
    3. The Dauphin (á la Louis XIV’s kid); or
    4. Libranos: the Next Chapter.

After many hundreds of years of fighting and dying for freedom and the right to vote, today the people of Canada chose to vote for a monarchy, where the title of Prime Minister is granted based on family name, not on credentials or qualifications.

    What they couldn’t control was their journalists DOING THEIR JOBS, which was to report on stuff that was going on.

  44. In theory Harper has a lot of options. He is still the PM. Parliament must sit one day in every year, so he could tough it out until next June or so. Besides, by convention a PM should be a member of the privy council. He could resign an ask for prorogation. He has tons of options, but he will not do anything, because he is just one honest principled man in an insane world.
