  1. Globe and Mail confidently predicts single digit % turnout in Stephen Harpers riding of Calgary Heritage.

“A few hours spent driving down random streets along the southwest corner of the city in mid-September might suggest the race is wide open – but also that voter turnout will be in the single digits. There were precious few signs of any political stripe, and as many, or more, for competitors as for blue Conservative.”

  2. Last election, in Calgary Southwest, Mr. Harper received 75.1% of votes!
Keeping in mind he was going against 4 candidates!

  3. It was clear here for only a couple of minutes. Not a supermoon, but 3/4th of it was red – blood red. Hope someone somewhere got a better view.

  4. Crystal clear in Kelowna. The moon rose while in partial eclipse, went to total, blood moon, bad moon, dark red mars like planet and then slowly back to a bright super moon.
So far the Climate Alarmists have not used it to further their “cause”. Perhaps in tomorrow’s above the fold headlines.

  5. The G&M article about PM Harper’s riding is important to me.
    The article is a sham.
The ‘journalist’ and the NDP candidate are giving each other tongue baths on twitter.

Maybe very well, not that there is anything wrong with that.

““I don’t understand why this is an issue!” That is the refrain I hear time and again from progressive commentators and media types when the debate over the niqab and the citizenship ceremony comes up.
And that’s if they are being nice and not declaring the overwhelming majority of Canadians to be simple-minded racists.
Our poll of 1,505 Canadians found 78% agree that face coverings should be removed. That kind of support cuts across party lines, demographic lines, cultural lines.”

  9. It is astonishing to me that the left could read something like this and still not get what is happening. Maybe they are not aware. In which case, where is our media. Canadians are still very much deluded by the “refugee” crisis. If this is not corrected soon, we will pay a very big price.
