Everyone knows when they are idiots. Everyone knows the stats about which they report. They are the best reporters because the greater population is as well or more informed as they are.
In my experience sports columnists usually stick their political views in wholly inappropriate fashion into their columns. And ESPN in the States is notorious for the left-lib crap they spout.
In my experience traditional sports writers are the best writers too.
Wonder when we’ll see Cam Cole fired from the NP for his idiotic column about how Kane shouldn’t have been allowed to be at the Chicago Blackhawks training camp. Very pathetic when a reporter doesn’t know about the law…namely innocent until proven guilty.
Cam Cole should be no longer be a journalist because he abdicated his right to actually be one when he wrote his article. For the newspaper he worked for to even print his opinion piece was an absolute dereliction of media duty,
