  6. Im a big fan of Neil Armstrong, the ultimate skilled pilot and team player, constantly diverting attention away from himself and back onto the team effort.
    what % is it nowadays claim Apollo 11 was done in a studio? are those the same ones expected to put a Republican in the White House?
    ‘Gil Scott-Heron` sounds like some middle class white european.

    My mother-in-law says that. I asked her if the other Apollo landings were legit
    and she says, “yes they were.’
    SO why, I ask her, is the Apollo 11 a fake?
    I tell you, I was a kid at the time and my folks got me up at about 4AM to watch the landings.(my folks were always like that, being RCAF)
    I remember them making us little kids watch Churchill’s funeral and JFK’s funeral too.

    Keep in mind that the Alberta

  12. I listened to Pierre Trudeau speak when he was visiting in Regina, Saskatchewan in the mid 1970’s. Years later I was at a hotel on Albert St. when a tour bus from Quebec was warming up to hit the road, early in the morning in August. I’m bilingual, so I walked over and chatted with the tourists, mostly seniors. An elderly woman from Montreal asked me, ”..Is there anything exciting that ever happened near here??” I told her that Trudeau visited Regina, and that I had seen him.” She asked, ”Did you shake his hand??” I replied, ”No, but I was about three feet away from him.” She said, ”That would have been just the right distance to choke the SOB!” Obviously, he wasn’t ”liked by all!!”

    Looking back to 1969, that the most elaborate feat of Aerospace engineering that mankind had ever accomplished. I remember when the appliance shops were selling corn poppers with a ”Lexan” cover that was supposed to be made with the same material as Neil Armstrong’s face shield.
    This is what the article says: GE is also credited with designing the Lexan polycarbonate plastic used in the bubble helmet worn by the astronauts. Lexan is a very strong, see-through plastic.

    My Dad owned a Shell filling station. We sold ”Berec” (British EverReady Company) flashlights that were supposed to be identical to what Neil Armstrong had used on the moon. We had one in the tow truck that outlasted two tow trucks!
