“Japan’s government is considering pressuring companies to raise wages again next year as the economy stalls due to weak consumer spending, several government sources said.”
What are they going to buy, if productivity doesn’t increase?
The key concept of economics is that of trade. Wages rise as productivity increases. The more government intervenes in the economy, which distorts the voluntary trading of individual citizens, the weaker the economy gets.

  2. The Chinese stock market took a big dump last night.
I wonder if their communist bosses will just put out a new rule and forbid selling at any price below the previous market price.

  3. The Media deliberately distort illegal immigration issues by quoting LEGAL immigration statistics.
    1. Illegal Aliens do not PAY Social security Taxes. The method used for employer reporting & paying SS (& other Taxes) MUST include the employee SS number & an equal amount of employer money. The SS Account is the employee’s & follows the employee.
    2. Data studies are not available for “unknown” illegal Aliens
Of course ALL legal immigrates must be overly careful not
    to commit crimes
    3. The holders of legal status (Green Cards) have “MORE” than these limiting conditions. (MUST never represent themselves to be an American Citizen)
    A) Not allowed to carry Hand Guns, or obtain a Concealed Carry
    Permit
    B) Not permitted in facilities or areas that limit access to
American citizens. Special conditions must be addressed
    C) NO voting in State or Federal Elections
The confusion by MSM is a deliberate falsification.

  4. How about this whopper from CBC “veteran journalist ” Hannah Thibedeau:
“Thibedeau stated that Wright and others concocted a “deliberately deceptive” tale about Duffy’s repayment that Canadians believed.” Oh really, where is the evidence to support the assertions of this “veteran journalist” beyond innuendo, prejudice and Harper hating rabies?
OK she isn’t technically a lying piece of s**t, but her actions are unethical, biased and unprofessional imho. She obviously has no hesitation engaging in rumour, misrepresentation and spin to discredit our PM, but is clearly not interested in the “truth.” She should apologize to PMSH and her employer. I know, not going to happen.
I have no problem with tough questions or an apology from the Harper team to her and other “reporters,” but it’s good to hear of some pushback from the troops. Maybe now the other leaders can answer some “tough questions.”

  5. Headline, National Post, Dec. 14, 2011.
”Uproar as Justin Trudeau hurls four-letter obscenity at Peter Kent in House of Commons.”
”Justin Trudeau calls Peter Kent ‘piece of shit’ in House of Commons.”
    Headline, CBC.Ca, August 18, 2015.
”Stephen Harper supporter hurls profanity at journalists over Duffy questions.”
(Supporter calls journalist ”a lying piece of shit.”)
Ah, but wait a moment. There are two sets of rules in Canada. Today, the CPC supporter was escorted out of the room by security guards. In 2011 however, Trudeau was allowed to remain in the house.
This was my comment on Cbc.Ca that was deleted only moments after I posted it.
” On Dec. 14, 2011, in parliament, Lib. MP Justin Trudeau called Peter Kent, federal Conservative MP and Minister of Environment, ”a piece of shit.” Why was Trudeau not escorted out of the house?? Are there two sets of rules in Canada??”
