  1. For vendor David Grey Eagle, being tucked away so close to a big event is an insult.
“It just seems like across the street everything is happening, and we’ve only had two athletes come here,” he said. “With respect, they call us First Nations but we’re tired of feeling like we’re the last nations.”
    Hmmm… a couple of points;
Most vendors would want to be tucked away close to a big event. That is a prime spot.
    And with the respect that you have earned;
    YOU call yourself ‘First Nations’.
That doesn’t make you a nation.
You could call yourselves ‘First World Powers’, that doesn’t make you a world power.
I think it is time for Mr.Grey Eagle to put down the weights and pick up some common sense.
BTW, the Toronto Star kept the comments to this article open for a whole 2 hours. It was going horribly wrong .

  2. Did any one here hear of the great Laronge gung grab by the RCMP from evacuated homes that were under threat of fire??
    I didn’t!! Why Not?? Hummm

  3. I think it’s because so much money has been moved to valueless things
    Facebook ,Twitter, even cellphones themselves
    Bigger time wasters than golf
Apple has 189 billion residing offshore

  4. re HOV lanes in what was already the worst traffic in North America.
    It is hell.
    Do NOT come to Toronto.
Do NOT attend to the Pan Am Games.

  5. Ottawa, best known as the capital of Canada, also features the National Gallery of Canada, the annual Bluesfest, winter skating on the Rideau Canal—and, perhaps, a staggering amount of illicit sex.
Recently hacked affair hookup site Ashley Madison has 189,810 Ottawans on its books, which is roughly 20% of the city’s population and the highest sign-up rate for the site in Canada and possibly the world, according to Reuters.
“My God, my phones will be busy,” a private investigator told the Ottawa Sun after hackers calling themselves the “Impact Team” threatened to put details of the site’s 37 million users online.

    I can hear it now,
“You Bastard” – “You Bastard” “You Bastard” “You Bastard”

  6. Ashley Madison has put ~37 million names on the shit house wall. Some will welcome the increased interest (like Weiner of Weiner fame)
I think it is a good time to invest in DNA testing. The divorce lawyer who does not insist on testing all the children would be incompetent. All Marriage contracts will now include financial Pre-Nuptial agreements & time of Birth DNA testing.

  7. I always wondered where the morally indignant preening Victorian puritanical busybodies went to… Feeding their moral vanity on slinging mud and stones at the fallen.
Well done. Nice. Now f*** off. You are deeply ugly people…

  8. TROLL ALERT
Hey there bbss, not sure what the purpose was of the drive by style vandalism, but would you mind pointing to the post regarding the “slinging mud and stones at the fallen”? I read back through the comments, but could not find anyone slinging mud and stones at anyone.
I guess what they say about the liberal mind-set is true though, that they are most intolerant of other peoples perspectives who don’t agree with them.

  9. Unless natives look very different in your part of the world, David Grey Eagle looks like a regular white guy.

  10. Wonder where the morally indignant preening Victorian puritanical busybodies went ?

    Ha.
Sounds like you are pissed, might it be because your name is on the list?
Any dumb-ass that would post their actual name, address, and sexual preferences on an internet dating website is…..
    ‘Well, A Dumb Ass.’ ha.

  11. Like him or revile him, Trump has done successfully what the GOP brain trust has been unsuccessful at. He has the media talking about issues in a way they have purposely avoided for eight years.
    There is a lesson here.
The way to fight the water carriers of the left is to find a lightning rod they can’t ignore that doesn’t care about their outrage. They benefit is that everytime they report on the lightning rods latest outburst they must remind the public what that outburst is in reference to, the catch is that tge media has been working overtime to make everyone forget about those issues.
I predict that soon Mr Trump will say something about the safety of embassy staff.

  12. Thousands take to the streets of NYC to protest Obama Iran deal i hope they brought along some iranian flags to burn

  13. A bit early for an electoral Hail Mary, n’est-ce pas? “Mulcair Invokes Second World War While Criticizing Harper’s Approach To Climate Change”
“At the same time, whenever we’ve taken on these big fights internationally, we were always one of the smaller players,” Mulcair said. “But it didn’t mean that we didn’t go in. In the Second World War, the same argument could have been made. ‘Oh, we only represent a couple of per cent of the forces.’ But we knew that we had a job to do. This is a battle that the world has to take on. Climate change is real, reducing greenhouse gases has to be made a priority. It can be done.”

Well they’re obviously the same thing, according to the NDP. How about some more recent history. When we were asked to do our “small” part in the fight against ISIS, the NDP had excuses instead of leadership:
22 Mar 15. “NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair says his party would pull Canadian troops out of Iraq if elected, as the party does not think Canada should be involved in a U.S.-led war. When it is a UN mission, when it is a NATO mission, we are open to it. But here, this is an American-led mission,” said Mulcair. “We think it’s wrong for Canada to be involved.”
You supported the “UN mission” in Afghanistan? No? More inconvenient facts Mr Mulcair? We’re wondering, hypothetically of course, would you have been favour of entering WW2? I think not given the peaceniks’ in the CCF then and NDP cut & run appeasement now. Now where were we – “battling” climate change? Leadership? Tax increases? Instead of fighting ISIS? Now I’m confused. BTW, who will be your Minister of Contradictions? There’s a growing portfolio.

  14. I don’t necessarily prescribe to the theory that ‘Donald Trump is the only Republican speaking the truth to the folks’.
I would argue that Donald’s message is the ONLY message from the Republicans being presented to the folks by the MSM.(for example, Fiorina is saying similar things; but, she cannot get a whiff of media exposure)
In other words, there are, and have been, many Republicans over the years saying(not quite like, but saying) the same things about the China, Mexico, ISIS and so on; but, the MSM would never dream of giving credibility to such ideas(the ideas of the majority) by giving them air/ink time.
So, here is the fascinating thing… the MSM cannot help itself, the MSM cannot resist… leading with the Donald every night.
So, one must ask themselves: why is the MSM choosing to be the defacto SuperPac for the Donald?
I’ve got two potential answers for the aforementioned question:
    1) The MSM is so disconnected from the public that they are absolutely positive that by exposing the Donald and his diatribes, the folks will see what a bunch of lunatics all Republicans are, and vote Democrat. In other words, the MSM refuses to accept that the folks might agree with the Donald. THE MSM THINKS THEY ARE ASSISTING THE DEMOCRATS BY FOCUSING ON THE DONALD!
    2) The MSM cannot resist the ratings, and the sales, that come-along with ‘all things Donald’.
I believe that it is a combination of these two factors that are ALLOWING a contrary point of view to be expressed.
This is ONCE IN A LIFETIME! Let’s not blow it.

  15. The Media started the Donald strategy by hyping everything they thought where his mistakes (Republicans must stop this), but I sense that CNN now realize that his is for REAL…First time I have heard them complain that Hillary is having a hard time reaching Democrat donors. (Her base is not the same as her husband) With the Democrat Convention scheduled to be another 1968 “Black Lives Matter”Riot..Would you waste your money on a likely dumping of Hillary
Philadelphia may burn like Baltimore unless the Democrats promise JOBS & HOMES to all Black Americans. It is the communist manifesto.

  16. Regarding you comment to me yesterday(sorry about the delay) regarding NDP/AGW/PMSH/WW2
It is beyond baffling that the LPC nor the Dippers learned from Stephan Dion’s “Green Shaft” and the election associated with that platform.
The Canadian Left is so dogmatic that they REFUSE to adjust to the wants and demands of the Canadian voters.
For example: after the coronation of Iggy, and the resulting proverbial ‘pimp-slap’ from the voters; one would expect the LPC would learn about “coronations”. I guess not!
Second example: the NDP and LPC obsession with AGW; which, Canadians have clearly stated “they don’t care”; hence consecutive CPC electoral victories.
I say let Canada’s liberals, be they Liberals or Dipper, keep talking AGW… and let’s see where the polls end-up in October. And if that doesn’t win the election for the Dippers/LPC, I’m sure promising to shrink the economy, give-up Canadian sovereignty to First Nation Indians… and all of those other things Canadians want will surely put them over the top.
I’m looking forward to ‘liberal heads exploding’ in October.
    Cheers

  17. The problem for Mucliar has to do with his promise to abolish the senate….which takes unanimous consent….meaning he needs to get all provincial governments on side…meaning he risks having to give something to one province the others will object strenuously to.
Now having recalled the last time constitutional lawyers had it made in Ottawa, there seemed to be one province that made the principle of moving goal posts a way of life…is it just a coincidence that its the same province that has the most most NDP MP’s.
Wonder what Tommy has been saying in french only since he became leader?
Would it be a promise to get Quebec that constitutional special status?
