Life Is Short. Make It Shorter.

Awkward.

Large caches of data stolen from online cheating site AshleyMadison.com have been posted online by an individual or group that claims to have completely compromised the company’s user databases, financial records and other proprietary information. The still-unfolding leak could be quite damaging to some 37 million users of the hookup service, whose slogan is “Life is short. Have an affair.”[…]
“Too bad for those men, they’re cheating dirtbags and deserve no such discretion,” the hackers continued. “Too bad for ALM, you promised secrecy but didn’t deliver. We’ve got the complete set of profiles in our DB dumps, and we’ll release them soon if Ashley Madison stays online. And with over 37 million members, mostly from the US and Canada, a significant percentage of the population is about to have a very bad day, including many rich and powerful people.”

  1. “Men”? It’s a males only site? Seems misandry is alive and well with the hackers, or perhaps they feel like that cuckold husband that in the case of women it’s only them “embracing themselves”.
Not feeling a great sense of sorrow for AM’s clients, no matter their gender.

  2. Hallelujah. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of douches. Karma is such sweet vengeful bitch.

  3. If it turns out thre is a significant amount of women exposed, que the slut shaming meme…

  4. This would be great if I was single, I’d know what women are unhappy and open minded without having to buy a membership

suddenly, millions of clueless spouses across north america are gonna figure out why they had to take those broad spectrum antibiotics for their partner’s “bladder infection.”

  6. Cuckolds and seducers unite in an orgy of data corruption led by hackers!
Well I must say they do ‘deserve each other’…

  7. As the comments on the original article point out, it’s not a homosexual hookup site.
The SJWs who hacked the site are about to discover that reality doesn’t match up to their beta male white knight fantasies.
If, as the CEO of AM claims, they know exactly who did this – somebody is about to get very well acquainted with extortion and blackmail laws. I sincerely hope the cracker in question spends a very long time in jail, because it will hopefully act as a deterrent to the next band of morally indignant Anonymice who decide that laws don’t apply to them.

  8. LOL.
Let slip the dogs of law! Release the lawyers!
(Somebody should phone Kinsella too…unless, of course, He is one of the customers…but I don’t supposes conflict of interest would stand between a sleazy lawyer and an easy buck…)

  9. Under Profile Options,
users can deactivate their accounts, which lets them return at a later date and pick up where they left off.
This is the most temporary of Ashley Madison’s three tiers of deleting.

Or… You can pay 19 dollars for a full scrub and email wash.
    ha.
Go ask Lois(IRS)Lerner, how those millions of scrub dollars spent, worked out for her ?

  10. Here, tell these people something they don’t know about me.

    Hey-Look at that !!
Its Hillary and Bills back up server!

  11. Good point. When I was a kid I was always taught to mind my own business. These days, the bloody nosy-parkers and busybodies are starting to royally piss me off. Always sticking their faces into other peoples’ business, like the damn Jerry Springer fans.
Maybe it’s time for some of these noses to get bitten off?…

  12. From the comments;
“Finally, after paying years of membership fees, and not getting one response…
    I’m finally getting F**ked!!!”

  13. What a sublime irony it would be if two of those 37 million turned out to be Edward Snowden and Julian Assange!

  14. I smell the stench of a political operation in all this, or do you actually believe that the Moral Majority is making a come back? Not bloody likely!
The dark-state will be able to sift out those who are not in compliance with their agenda by seeding it with whatever propaganda they choose.
Believe it if you want, but don’t forget about the number they did on that “Roberts” fellow.

  15. Back in my day if was common practice for pissed off folks to put the Name & phone number (ex-spouse) on a shit house wall….
“For a good time call Sue”
Now they just dump the name & picture onto every web site…sweet
That web site is in trouble!

  16. Uhhhh
I set up an account right in front of my wife because like other match making sites i think they use the “credit” system to have fake users “wink” or what ever to get you to use credits witch of course cost money so i told her to watch and monitor my account i bought 20$ worth of credits then went on a wink/flirt rampage all while she was watching the only responses i received were from women who required more information ie more credits used.
I made a note in my profile that in order to proove you are not abot when you respond to me tell me your favorite ice cream flavor. LOL not one person did that just requested more information from me so i would respond and tell them about me and then nothing.
My wife laughed and said it was because i was not hot enough so i changed my profile picture to a male model …..same thing. pretty gay web site if you ask me and it found it to be almost the exact same as laval life.
I had one responce from a lady who said she was on call if i wanted to make arrangements
Lol. All BS. ALL OF IT.
As for my information i removed all of my pictures and updated my information to reveal i live in saskatoon alabama

  17. Simple rule
Never post anything online you wouldn’t post in your local newspaper.

  18. On the Mothers’ Day just passed a column in the Nat. Post Lifestyle section by Jane MacDougall caught my attention. It appears that about 10% of women hold the ultimate secret from their husbands: that a particular child does not actually belong to ther husband. This fact came about in a couple of different studies, on the the UK and the other in the US a couple of years apart.
Geneticists, doing research unrelated to paternity, found in the course of their research that about 10% of children didn’t belong to the supposed bio-dad. The mothers know for sure that her kid is hers while dads take it on faith. Some reasons given: about 35% of women stray b/c about 55% of men do. Also, a woman can beccome less succeptible to her partner’s sperm over time so getting some on the side increases the liklihood of getting pregnant.
Cool story. On Mothers Day no less.

  19. Have some fun – set up an account in the name of someone whom you really dislike.
JUST KIDDING!!! (I think that would break some law somehow)

  20. It’s actually a pretty funny site. I’d say 90% of the real posters are either singles, or married people looking for other swingers. The vast majority of all ids are bots, looking to sell webcam time…

  21. Shades of Monty Python; Blackmail.
Who knew todays Libtards would take Monty Python as a training manual?

  22. What happened to the good old days of going to a strange town bar to get laid on the quick? Or going out of town on “business”? You young punks today, all Facebook and no face; all Twitter and no bird. 🙁

  23. “Too bad for those men, they’re cheating dirtbags ..” but supposedly a majority of AM users are female.

  24. While this site isn’t my cup of tea, the audacity of the hackers pushing their moral beliefs on everyone is starting to royally piss me off. These hacking hacks are little better than ISIS, Believe our way or die.
