Canadian gun owners also need to fight for the future of gun ownership rights in Canada. Get involved and support those who support us.
In 2011, the “Turf Mark Holland” campaign helped Chris Alexander kick anti-gun crusader Mark Holland out of the Ajax riding he had held for 3 elections. Hopefully gun owners in Canada can help keep him out, and expand on that success with other candidates, in 2015.
Check out the web site http://www.tmh2.org and maybe consider offering a donation to the suggested candidates. It’s a low tech grassroots campaign, but maybe it can grow into something that will make a difference. TMH2.org
Turf Mark Holland indeed. He’s the about the most revolting individual I’ve witnessed in the HOC to start with. There’s certainly no comparison between him and Chris Alexander, the people of Ajax have a clear choice. Holland is another Liberal hanger-on who misses being at the trough, hope the people of Ajax are better judges of people than to elect Holland.
Time for the Conservatives Party of Canada to wake up and take note. The latest poll from the pollster who predicted an NDP win in Alberta has the NDP forming a minority government if an election were held today. The Libranos and Conservatives are tied. If this doesn’t scare anyone there is no hope for this country.
Time for the Conservatives to start spelling out what Mulcair’s dogma would do to the country, not to mention a large percentage of his MP’s are from the province of Quebec where separatism is still alive. Mulcair and company would kill the economic engine of this country, we’d be in dire straights in no time flat.
Liz, then you won’t like this – pardon my sarcasm but I think Mulcair’s got this thing locked up.
NDP widens lead in new Forum poll
“Forum puts the NDP at 36 per cent nationally among decided voters, a comfortable margin over the Conservatives and Liberals, who are tied at 28 per cent.”
To tamp this thing down all Mulcair has to do is clearly show his “vision.” How, well let’s check his platform, now and IMHO evolving:
– Arrogant Refusal to pay $2.7million ill gotten taxpayers money due to inappropriate partisanship of Grits & Tories
– Increase carbon taxes and regulation to the max
– Cancel tax cuts in place, since only the “rich,” you know that “15%,” get them
– Make business more productive with more government regulation and ever higher corporate income & payroll taxes
– Cancel/stop free trade agreements (cause unions hate em)
– National Daycare at “only” $15 (like maximum man) per day, amazing since they will be staffed at higher union wages
– In short, lots more government, lots more debt, lots more public sector union largesse and watermelon buddies getting something the private sector can’t provide – good paying jobs for their mediocrity. Lots more windfarms, windbags and white elephants
– and lots, lots, more, plus my all time favourite:
– let Quebec separate on 50% +1 voter standard to apparently any referendum question on the matter. How prime ministerial!! How ironic that this party should crush the BQ and then give the separatists a gift like this.
The provinces in TROC might want to keep that in mind if this cabal ever gets elected, as they strangle the life out of this country with the growing leviathan of government and degrading of industry owing to a hostile attitude towards business, especially “banks and oil companies” combined with an anachronistic and counterproductive class struggle ethos they’ve never repudiated. That’s why they will do it – they can’t help themselves – it’s who they are.
The message from us more of the free enterprise persuasion is tell other voters to be careful what they wish for. I think they will wake up in time though. People should ask themselves why they would vote NDP shouldn’t they? Then again when I look at C-51 criticism and hair fires, one must conclude there are no doubt many who feel strongly about issues for which they have no real clue beyond their bias and perceived self-interest, no matter how hopelessly flawed their thinking.
Nonetheless I think his responses to those ideas will be lluminating and amusing. Then again, when “Canadians” hear from him on these issues, that he’s actually a “moderate” – aka since 1990 a raving Waffle wannabe, with the moderates the new “right wing extremists” – that’ll lock down his vote and road to government, right? Sorry, which “Canadians?” It’s hard to keep them all straight. Maybe the media can help.
OK that was really sarcastic. I don’t see the guy as a true contender for PM, but it wouldn’t be the first time voters took down those who helped them with their money in favour of those who helped themselves to their money. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2015/06/25/ndp-widens-lead-in-new-forum-poll.html

Alberta tweaks greenhouse gas rules (aka doubles carbon tax), emission intensity to be cut by 20 per cent
“They’ll also have to pay $30 for every tonne of CO2 they release that’s over that level. Environment Minister Shannon Phillips said these are meaningful steps toward a better climate change stategy for Alberta. ‘Some will argue that we aren’t going far enough on these issues. I say to them we are serious about making progress,’ she said Thursday. ‘Some will argue we are moving too far and too fast. I say to them that more of the same would be the worst thing we could do for our energy economy and for the future of our province.’ These changes are significant increases over current levels and penalties. Alberta’s overall emissions are still forecast to rise over the next two years.”
That’s how you make “serious progress?” Towards what? Regulating & taxing to death the oil & gas industry is the right thing do rather than “more of the same” aka prosperity? That’s right “for the future of our province?” Did your anti-pipeline activist chief of staff give you that talking point? Watermelon garbage chasing oily rainbows.
“Some will say?” Yeah, and they’d be friggin right – you can’t crush an economy and expect prosperity. Hardly, we know the opposite applies. My fellow Canadians in Alberta – what were you thinking?
NDP boilerplate, anywhere – anytime – by anyone. That’s what I mean about them strangling the life out of our economy. Destroy prosperity driving factors of production in favour of transactions of decline of government regulation, pointless emissions controls being the granddaddy of all, with an lower standard of living with less jobs, more taxes & inflation. IOW equal misery for all, except the favoured “elect” that is. That’s what history has taught us.
Oh but that’s the AB NDP, they’re the radical ones, not the federal wing; they’re “moderate?” No wait, wasn’t she supposed to be the “moderate?” No? http://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/alberta-tweaks-greenhouse-gas-rules-emission-intensity-to-be-cut-by-20-per-cent-1.2440083
Change is never expected until it happens, and then it happens very suddenly.
Conservatives in this country, both the citizenry and those people in the PMO, better wake up, or Canada is headed for a nightmare of economics and social engineering the kind of which we have not seen before.
No more thanks, I’ve got it and I’ve had it up to here! Too bad the Conservative Party of Canada can’t get it. When they call for money they need to get an earful. For starters they need to at least attack the lies and half truths being put out by the Opps and their pals in the media ignoring them and letting them be repeated means people will assume they’re true. It’s starting to look like they’ve given up on Trudeau and now are going with Mulcair, he’s their great hope to defeat Harper.
Liz J, Harper’s doing this as we speak, beginning the work of tying Trudeau and Mulcair together into his political gordian knot, with Harper standing in for Alexander the Great. Once the right-centre Grits wriggle out, the game will be up. Remember he’s light years ahead of both of them in intelligence, common sense and political savvy. I think the recent NDP polling gain is a very advantageous development for Harper and Tories as summer is here and the election campaign approaches:
Stephen Harper says Justin Trudeau wants to be ‘best friends’ with Iran
“Harper told reporters in Quebec City that Trudeau’s “announcement” about the ISIS mission and Iran was ‘completely irresponsible.’ ‘I think it’s very strange. At a time in history — in fact he made the announcement on the national day of remembrance for victims of terrorism — to say that his priority is the restoration, or to become best friends with one of the state sponsors of terrorism in the world, the government of Iran, and that he wants to cut the relationship we’ve established with all of our allies… and with a large international coalition to take the fight against the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, a group that… has executed and is planning attacks against Canada and Canadians,’ the prime minister said. ‘I think on behalf of both Justin Trudeau and Thomas Mulcair, their positions on the military mission in Iraq and Syria, their mission against ISIS, is irresponsible electoral politics. And I think most Canadians understand that, Harper said.” http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/stephen-harper-says-justin-trudeau-wants-to-be-best-friends-with-iran-1.3127419
The goal is to make Alberta colder. How much colder do they want it? Why do they wish to cripple agriculture?
For those who are thinking of voting for the NDP they might first want to take a gander at the mess socialism left in the UK, they’ll be dealing with it for decades to come.

The OPP, what a shocker!
Along with wealth distribution of course gun confiscation will also be a requirement for world government. Remember that the UN was created to insure our freedoms. All we created was a bureaucratic monster with a insatiable appetite for power.

If you read the story, you’ll see that CBC.Ca has published this traitor’s Facebook photo when he was 14 years old. He’s now 23. Don’t we all recall how the CBC flashed Omar Khadr’s photo on their national network and portrayed him as an innocent looking 14 year old. With friends like the CBC, who needs enemies??
