Flashback

No. Just like every other prediction the enviro-whacko’s have made.

Then-GMA co-anchor Chris Cuomo appeared frightened by this future world. He wondered, “I think we’re familiar with some of these issues, but, boy, 2015? That’s seven years from now. Could it really be that bad?”

But, then, what do you expect when you ask a bunch of partisans for their best disaster-porn wet dreams.

  1. If it wasn’t for Katrina in 2005, the Global Warming/Climate Change scams would not have gotten as big as they have. And the only reason Katrina was as bad as it was is because the levee’s broke – which the city/state was warned could happen. The actual storm did damage, but it was the bad infrastructure that caused the most problems. And the greenies jumped on that event to fearmonger.
The following two springs had warnings that “this year would be the worst hurricane season on record”. As we all know, those hurricanes didn’t materialize, nor have they since. It’s all a sham.

  2. To all the watermelon statists and their fellow travelers, the “imminent danger” is always just far enough into the “future” to frustrate any attempt to validate past “predictions.” Remember, they’re not supposed to be “accurate;” after all this is “science” we’re talking about. They can be as far out to lunch as they want, like a Trudeau fairness plan for the middle class, because well they’re trying to “help” (themselves), so it’s OK to pursue their agenda even if the data is BS. That’s not actually the point though, is it?
And anyone who doesn’t agree is a terrible, no good, very bad person who should be forced to move to Australia, whom they may shut up anytime by any means in the interests of “justice,” “fairness” and of course “consensus.”

  3. So if New York is underwater; why is it that we still have frequent announcements from Mayor “De Blowhole-sio”. Would the coast guard send out a rescue party to search for him?
    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/de-blasio-not-back-hillary-opposes-trade-deal-article-1.2255489
De Blasio pressures Hillary Clinton to come out against President’s Pacific trade pact
Gee, you’d think all the workers at Goldman Sachs would be investing in scuba gear to go to work, seeing as they’re ‘under water’ and all…
House votes down piece of Obama’s Pacific trade deal that promises assistance to workers who lose jobs

Thus the Pacific trade deal is sunk on the Atlantic coast; and global warming is cancelled due to lack of substantive uncorrupted evidence.
As a bonus the UN is ‘liquidated with excess global warming’ covering it’s building!

  4. We need to make all Politicians walk back the meaningless term “Climate change” to the original terminology “Global Warming”. The terminology regarding climate change are weasel words without supporting documentation…
If the Pope does not use the correct terminology, in his mutterings of conscious endeavors, call him a weasel.

  5. Another aspect of the Katrina story is that the government in
Louisiana at all levels were clueless. Every Democrat
administration is plagued with this same problem. People
are appointed not because they have the expertise in some
subject, but that they contributed to the candidate who
    became mayor, governor or president.
Hurricanes shit-hammer Florida every year, yet the death
tolls and damage are nowhere near as high because the
appointed officials actually READ the disaster prepared-
ness plans. Mayor Nagen and governor Blanco were so
far out of their depth, neither one had a clue about
disaster plans and neither did any of their minions.
At the local level, police officers, firefighters and
EMT’s were walking off the job because they were fearing
for their families. It is bad enough that governor Blanco
refused Bush’s offer of help, but but what made his worse
was something I learned of only after the fact. A Republican
public safety commissioner spelled it out: The first people
to be evacuated are the family members of the first responders.
He said this is the basis for EVERY emergency response plan
ever written at the local level. What a novel concept!
As to the meat of the story, Al gore must have made more than
a dozen predictions that later bit him in the ass. Paul
Erlich set the standard by predicting that hundreds of
millions of people would be dead from the effects of
overpopulation by the turn of the century. Cuomo is
in the company of hundreds of people who have been
proven wrong by the passing of time.

  6. I cannot count ALL the “tipping points” that we have already passed if we had wanted to prevent the complete annihilation of humanity. I have no doubt that new “tipping points” will continue to be hyped … until this IDIOTIC Climate Change aka Global Warming finally passes the tipping point of incredibility.

  7. Cryin’ won’t help you, prayin’ won’t do you no good,
Now, cryin’ won’t help you, prayin’ won’t do you no good,
When the levee breaks, mama, you got to move.
As the late Sam Kinison told the victims of the Sub Saharan drought and famine … MOVE ! Moooooooovee !!

  8. eventually we will get another massive storm that causes tens of billions of dollars damage and kills people but there will be absolutely no way that we will be able to prevent it. bankrupting America will not prevent it. all the computer models in history will not prevent it. all the handwringing and complaining about population will not prevent it. being prepared just might save your life.

  9. Well, Obama did say he was going to stop the oceans from rising. Looks like he actually accomplished something! He saved New York from a watery grave!!
